Formats were World Cup Group 1-5 best of three.
Top qualifying team goes straight into the 'king seat' in the Final.
Second and Third place teams playoff for the right to attempt the 'double dip' and play for the title of September Bank BYP Champions. The final is 1-5 best of five.

Fantastic days foosball and a great crowd for this excellent event.
Much Polish beauties looking on from the sidelines which always brightens the room.
This was also a perfect warm-up for the Floatel.
Bush BYP next Thursday - last chance intense praccy for the F.
Looking forward to the next Bank BYP also.
Prize money was 1st £30 - 2nd £20 - 3rd £10.

There are 9 spaces on the shield just because that was how many were on it!! we will use the other three in 2008!
Alex is correct my intention was to give the extra prize to the team which won it three times. So far no one team has won two. Thats why I said it may not count in the post above just winning on different teams.

Bank Shield BYP Saturday October 13th
Ok its time to try to get your name on that shield again so I will update this post with the names of people going so far please say if I am assuming anything . Great practice for Manchester so whos coming to the Bank?

Practice will commence at 12.30 and registration start at 1.00pm closing at 1.30pm when the draw will be made ready for starting the event at 2.00pm.
The event will be played on two Tornado tables with Group stages of maximum of 7 teams on each. The top two teams on each table will go through to a DE finals playoff.
Format will be best of 3. Players should pre-register by stating their intention to come on www.britfoos.com this thread . The organisers reserve the right to cancel if less than 12 players preregister .
Entry fees will be £5 per pro/semi pro player and £3 for beginners and rookies .
The decision on who is in what category will be made by the event organisers and is final.
The event will be 100% payout of entry fees payable as follows:
1st 50%
2nd 30%
3rd 20%
The winning team will have their names engraved on the BANK SHIELD which will be on display in the Venue . Any team obtaining 3 wins in a year will get further recognition.

Yes , thats about when it does finish or earlier no problem unless we have a hell of a lot more players than normal
