Hi all,
John W and I will be visiting the Royal Oak this friday. Will there be anyone around for a few games?

I dare say the regulars will be there about 8.00pm.
Lets hope your attendance will attract some of the not so regulars.
Look forward to seeing you

Yeah! Looking forward to it. I hope there's a good turn out.

Is there any chance it's the first Friday?

Awesome. Do they do food at the pub, or should we eat before arriving?

Me and my dad will be in Bedworth tomorrow installing a Garlando Coperto in The Cricketer's Arms, which I believe is only 3 miles away from the Royal Oak. Would there be anyone around for a small session. Roughly early afternoon?

Cheers Matty.

No probs Mark. We put the table in and had a good session with the lads in there. They are very good novices, possibly even a good amateur standard. The landlord seems to think it will be very popular and they even removed a pool table to get it in. We told them about you guys only being a couple of miles away, so perhaps you could get something going with them in the future.

Just to make anyone aware the Royal Oak in Nuneaton has been closed for refurbishments. So currently and for the foreseeable future our table footie venue is The Salutations. Our Garlando table has been moved to this venue. Address is

The Salutations
31 chancery lane
Nuneaton
CV10 0PB

Not tonight or so I'm told, as it is Good Friday, there was a get-together last night at the Gunmakers Arms in Birmingham with the legendary John Kropacz making a return to the table...
