I am excited to announce that the Leonhart Spring Open is the first in a series of four UK Leonhart tournaments in 2014, and will take place in Gloucester at the Capital Venue on the weekend of the 7th-9th of March.
This event is the first in our "Four Seasons of Foosball" series this year - look out for the Summer, Autumn and Winter Opens later on.
We'll post updates here and on the event's facebook page as more details are confirmed, but this is all I have for you now.
Happy New Year, and here's hoping for a 2014 full of foos!

Hi All,
We have managed to secure an allocation at The Holiday Inn Express Hotel by the venue . This year the rate is £55 for a double room.
These are on sale now but will stop when they are sold or the hotel is full.To book these please call the hotel on +44(0)1452 726 400 and ask to book for the dates using the SO7 booking code. Someone called Sam should be the relevant person .
After these are gone so long as the hotel is not full then you can book at cheaper than the usual current rate using the link on the SWSA (south west snooker acadamey)web page
Once these are gone they are gone but obviously there are other hotels in the Gloucester area which can be found on late rooms ,booking.com and other such sites . The next best being the siesta inn.

Can the organisers please confirm (or not) that the Saturday events will all finish that day, this is info needed for people who can't stay over. Thanks.

Hi all,
If you have not yet booked your room in the nearby Holiday Inn express then rooms in the hotel can be booked here cheaper than anywhere else at the moment using the SWSA corporate id code.
http://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/ho ... =954312317
or you could still try the room allocation we had at £55 as per my post in the thread above but this may have expired as less than two weeks to go.
Currently rooms are still available using the SWSA code at £56 per night.

I am bringing a beginner with me to his first tournament. His name his Rohil Odedra, he plays foosball with me on our table at work everyday and has also been to the Royal Oak in Nuneaton with me a few times. He is a good defender who needs partners for beginners doubles, open super cup and he needs a pro-master for pro-am.
Also I myself need a partner for semi - Pro doubles.

There will be beginners there from the Capital Venue so there will be people in the events.
Hopefully we will have a few spare for doubles.
