It's in the middle of nowhere. Looks like a fly/drive via Dortmund, return flights pretty cheap from Luton (easyjet).

I'm interested in this. Senior players - we need to beef up our game on this table if we want to beat the Germermans in Nantes. Who else is interested?

Same place as last year - really in the middle of nowhere. Drove last year with Rob and Tamas Beh, wouldn't fancy it again... About 500 miles from Calais. The problem it is the 300 on this side which is the killer!

Fly anywhere in Northern or Eastern Germany and rent a car, probably an extra couple of hours driving if you fly to Amsterdam but more/cheaper UK flight options...

I'm a probably not this time thanks, unless
There are 3 UK seniors and I would complete the team
I can share accommodation
i can find a decent SD partner

I'm pretty keen on going - but the problem is logistics.

Flying to Amsterdam is by far the best option for me. It would actually be more appealing to have an extra night there for some more 'holiday' time, rather than just going away solely for foos in a centre parcs. I'm useless and can't drive, but if 4/5 (or a multiple of) fancied doing this it should make the car hire reasonably affordable.

Sounding good to anyone?

I'm tempted by this. Amsterdam does not look like a good option as there's a 4 hour drive. I would prefer to fly to Dusseldorf and drive from there.

I am defo up for this! Is there not a convenient train from amsterdam? I am slightly nervous of the idea of driving on the other side of the road, but i could possibly be convinced...

Amsterdam is quite far! I don't fancy a 4 hour plus journey from Amsterdam.

There's plenty of flights to Dusseldorf from lots of UK airports. Easyjet and Ryanair are under £100 atm.
I don't know the nearest train station to the venue but maybe we could train/taxi from Dusseldorf. If we get a good sized group going then we could hire a couple of cars between us.

Last year my partner was thinking of coming along for a few days beforehand (centre parcs tend to book accom by the week) then flying home. There was a fiendishly complex train journey (from Winterberg, not Medebach) which took hours. The venue really is in the middle of nowhere and public transport solutions seem inappropriate...

Manchester-Dusseldorf flights look pretty good. I was just thinking Amsterdam for the extra holiday time. But then maybe we could just do the same in Dusseldorf....

Myself and James are definitely going to this one and have booked Luton to Dortmund with Easyjet £ 54 going late wednesday night, coming back late sunday night at 21.05 and will hire a car.

Dortmund is much nearer than the others (less than 60 miles by car as the airport is conveniently located on the right side and right by the motorway) and the drive is easier as two thirds motorway.

Hopefully it should be a good one.

I probably won't have enough leave to go out early.

Dave, thanks for posting those flights, they look perfect for me. I might book them once I have a better idea of if I can get the time of work.

That sounds good Dave. When we know who's coming we can start organising car hiring.

Sarah, Laura and I are planning on flying out (probv from Manchester) Wednesday the 26th - staying in Düsseldorf for a couple of nights (and hiring a car to get about) then the Centre Parcs Fri, Sat and Sun nights - and flying back Monday.

Obviously the more the merrier.

Also, does anyone have a Leonhart/Tecball etc? If not, clearly you want to buy one Dave Z, in the next month or so, and open your house for practice
