Could be a good event, the tournament organiser is experienced with small events and runs a sports bar.

But the biggest event he has ever run is 70 people. We will wait and see.

Mase

From the quietness of this topic I assume no one is going to this WCS?

Well from what i heard, the prize fund has rose a few times and maybe going to rise again.

There is one question that im a bit concerned about. If there isnt anyone from the UK coming to this, obv there isnt going to be a UK team for the Nations cup, would I be able to play for Hong Kong (I have duel nationality)

For table football, you can only be of 1 nationality. As you have not played for GB in the past 12 months (correct?), and you qualify to play for Hong Kong, then you would be able to switch nationalities.
You would need to contact the president of their federation asking to switch, and if they accept then they will need to contact me (chair@britfoos.com) to have this approved by the BFA.
It would be run past the committee, it's amazingly not just down to the personal opinions of BFA members  , but if you want to switch we'll have no problem granting that.
If you do switch to play for Honk Kong, then you will not be able to play for GB for the following 12 months.
So up to you.

Paul Nunes switched from France to Portugal - and then won Bonzini WCS this year. I reckon go for it, Simon.

Yes but he had to wait 12 months after his last match for France before playing for the Portugal national team...

Hong Kong is a weird one. To simple it down its like football, there is England, Wales and Scotland. They can compete as seperate countries.

So HK is part of China but it isnt in a way lol

Any Brits this year? In Kuala Lumpur 31st Oct - Nov 3rd.

I've heard the Malaysians are trying to arrange flights and hotel deals to make it more affordable, as I remember their team was sponsored by AirAsia last year.
