I seem to remember finding the men's singles final on the Monday morning on Eurosport 2. It'd be worth looking at obscure hours for the next week when they might show odd bits and pieces.

Eurosport 2:
11.30pm on Sunday Night
7.45am on monday morning,
7am on tuesday morning,
7am on wednesday morning.
That's as far as my wotsit will scroll. Dunno if they're repeating the same thing over and over (wouldn't surprise me) or if they're showing different stuffs.

Hey Luke,

need some help , the Kozoom site is appalllingly hard to use. I cannot figure out how to access anything.

How do we watch the live stream when it starts?
How did you post on the Kozoom Club or read other posts?

I have my premium pass.

Yeah, I've been having issues with it too. Okay, so in acquiring your premium pass I guess you must have registered an account? Log-in with that at the top of the page. You have to be logged in to comment on posts.

I asked about how we're to view the live stream, and some guy called "Xavier" replied saying we'll be able to have access from tomorrow by clicking on the "Live" page. I assume that's the red button on the navigation bar underneath the Kozoom logo (although that link doesn't go anywhere yet).

Posts seem to appear on the "Kozoom Club" whenever you comment on a post that already exists on the site. So when I posted on the "Jim Stevens commenting the World Cup 2012 " it appeared on the Kozoom Club on the right hand side of the home page.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.

Tragically, another big faller before the first hurdle appears to be the entire Kuwait national team, so much fun in Manchester, thanks to visa issues in Germany, as per http://kuwaittablesoccer.com/?p=462:

"It’s a very Sad for us to Inform the fans that our national team couldn’t make it to France due to an unexpected visa refusing by Frankfurt Airport. We would just like to Thank Germany for refusing our national team to pass to France and KILL their dream. This is a big moment that will not be forgotten".

That's shocking. Really sad to hear. They were genuine, nice, down-to-earth guys - they'll be missed, I'm sure.

On Eurosport 2 - Sunday 11.30pm claims to be day four coverage (1h 30), Monday 7.45am says it is the men's singles final (1h), Tuesday 7am says "men's and doubles semi-finals and finals" (1h), Wednesday 7am says men's quarter-finals (2h). I have set them to record but Eurosport tend to be unreliable with schedules and not know what they are talking about from experience. Hopefully they are better than they used to be...

The singles qualification is currently taking place...

Rob has so far won 4 of 6 games with 2 left against (going on their results so far) weak opposition.

Tom has also won 4 of 6 games.

Jon has won 3 of 6, most notably beating Marcin Snopkowski 7-2 on Garlando. He lost 6-7 to Bentivoglio in what was most likely a pretty infuriating game.

Sarah has qualified comfortably after winning 4 of her 6 games (albeit one a forfeit).

Mayya has yet to finish her games, but so fas played 5, won 2. I think a win in her final match would see her through.

Dave Z and Boris look set to make it through to the knockouts.

Our juniors, Callum and Matthew have unfortunately gone out after both playing 8 and winning 2 - cracking effort though, I'm sure.

It seems to be the number of wins their opponents have had - the idea being if they have played stronger players than someone else with the same number of wins and same goal difference (and I assume no head to head score) they are more worthy of a higher place..

So, good news is that Rob's definitely through after winning 5 of his 8 matches. Tom and Jon both have played 7 and won 4, if results go their way they can both lose their last game and still go through. Let's hope it doesn't get to that though, obv.

Looks like they all made it. Boris and Dave Z should scrape through too.

Lol yeah, Dave and Boris pushed it a little qualifying in 15th and 16th (16 qualify) respectively. I really feel for Mayya though who is the only woman to win 2 and go out. 5 others won 2 of 6 and went through.

Draw's been made for the singles knockouts...

Naturally Boris, Dave, Tom and Jon have tough draws after qualifying fairly low. But to be honest, in true sport punditry style; there's no easy games in the foosball world champs.

Rob and Joe currently waltzing through the doubles qualification having won all of the 5 games they've played so far. Most notably beating the USA team of Dan Barber and Rob Mares 7-5 on Fireball.

World Champs for the second time, perhaps?

I was checking the rankings for the women's doubles and was surprised to see Ingrid Hauben (Mr Collignon's other half) who, reportedly, was suffering from illness and was the reason Fred wasn't attending the event, at the top of the list. Checking his facebook page again, I find this... (translated)

as how quickly things change sometimes, "Cisse" found a physiotherapist on site (which has already come to a meeting), so we set off and arrived safely in Nantes, and especially Ingrid Kylian and feel better.

bloop just got real.

Mike and Tom has won 4 of 7 in the groups and has an Indian team to play last which I hope is a pretty easy team. Hopefully if they win that we will have another Brit in the KO stages... Good Luck boys!
