I'd strongly recommend swapping the formats around using SKO for the less-important divisional events and DKO for OS/OD.

Add senior singles and doubles at the same time as Juniors/Womens and I'll try to be there!

I'm definately coming.

What's the distribution of Lithuanian ranks?
Or in other words, would I be better off entering semi pro events or pro events?

Thanks

We don't have senior players in Lithuania. However, if there are enough from other countries, we will make it.

In my opinion you hsould enter pro events.

At the moment
Ryanair fares for our date are:
Briston-Kaunas-Bristol on 20 and 23(return) May costs 50 pounds,
Stansted-Vilnius-Stansted on 20 and 22 - 55 pounds,
Gatwick-Kaunas-Gatwick - 92 pounds,

There are also Wizzair flights from the UK to Vilnius, but these are not on the exact dates. Quite cheap though, so if you want to visit Vilnius and actually see it, you can come earlier.

oh, and Jonathan, you would be either Master or Pro, hard to tell now

Wow this looks great! Isn't there an obligation to run Senior events for an ITSF Master Series tournament?
Apostrophes never make plurals.Incorrect:Table's,Garlando's,DVD's,1900's.Correct:Tables,Garlandos,DVDs,1900s.

not i heard about of, maybe Boris knows anything about this?

BTW, if there will be any need I could pick at least some of you from airport, you should cover petrol ofc, what would be around 15 pounds for round trip ;) IF you will fly to Kaunas

We are totally up for having senior events held in Vilnius, but it fully depends on the enthusiasm of foreign seniors.

ITSF do not make it mandatory to hold senior, junior or womens events, we do so in the UK as a condition of an event being considered for ITSF status. If it is a Master Series you could certainly expect Jet to attend and maybe a few more.

What about flights from Liverpool/Manchester?

Liverpool - Kaunas is 18th May and return date is 25th (unless you want to miss whole sunday).
Same is with flights from Doncaster/Sheffield to Vilnius with Wizzair.

There is, however, a flight from Liverpool to Riga which is 200ish miles from Vilnius. For now, prices are pretty high though (127 pounds) and the bus to Vilnius would cost 10-15 more pounds.

It should be possible to find indirect flights via other towns.

I'm very tempted :D. No idea if I could compete very well at SP level over there, if it's similar to UK SP level then I might be alright? Lithuania seems awesome anyway, so even if I suck at foosball I could go for the adventure regardless. :P

I've got incredibly comfortable floor to sleep on --
now at least 9 non-Polish people can stop worrying about their accommodation.

We're not used to this, so we don't want to experiment during our most important tournament of the year. Plus the qualification matches in the open events seem to be a good practice for lower ranked players before meeting the masters. It has worked quite normally so far.

Thanks for the advice anyway. :)
