Hi Guys ,

you cant seriously be holding this on the same weekend as the Liverpool event also at rileys can you?

also what is "flayering"?

what tables would it be on?

why does it say 10th of Feb half way down schedule?

This is nothing to do with Champfoos, the BFA or ITSF - Michal appears to have copied all that from the Liverpool announcement? That would also explain the date inconsistencies etc. It looks like it's just a local event and this is the first we're hearing of it.

Michal, it would help if you rewrote the post from scratch. That would clarify exactly you're running, and will remove all the stuff that isn't true, like the endorsement of the BFA and the ITSF, and the "30% levy on entry fees"!

I've been in touch with Michal via Facebook and re-worded the announcement, and explained the basic criteria for consideration as a ranking tournament.

If he can fulfil these criteria and the TCC agree, then it could be granted Cat C status, otherwise it will be Cat E as with other local events around the UK.

Well I think that's brilliant, congratulations to Michael for getting things started up there... who knew there'd be an Aberdeen Open in 2013... grassroots indeed! What other hidden gems are out there waiting to be discovered...

Hi
First of all I am extremely glad that someone try to do something in Scotland , and secondly YBBUN before you start your NOVOMOVA and attacking someone who is trying do something on local scale, who is doing something to popularize this sport in Scotland , witch is black hole, think, think maybe even twice. Are you going to come to Aberdeen? I don’t think that even 1 players from England would consider a second to come to our tournament even if it wasn't the same date as Liverpool!!!! Live and let live , don’t ruin something before it starts up. Thank you Boris for professional approach and explaining rules and all the issue to Michael rather destroying what we are trying to do in Scotland. Many thanks.

As I was told Tables are 4 Garlando WC. (everybody know that this pub have Garlando)
Edinburgh teams will come, and maybe in the future some one from BFA will come as well. Everyone is welcome! Please understand Scottish Foos is small baby so please have more patience and shown us what to do, not attack.
Respect for anyone trying to do anything here, it is really hard.
I am not expecting any replay from you, So please delete anything because it will be off topic!
Best regards
Kris
I will pass info to every player in Edinburgh and i will put it on our website!

Hi Thank you for understanding and good words! We are very excited about first ( a little bigger tournament in Scotland)
Sorry maybe I overreact a little bit.

Make love and play foos ;) :-D

p.s. Novomova is communistic jargon, used to talk in very formal language about meaningless issue!

best regards

I second what has already been said - it's great to see new people on the scene, willing to put in the effort in areas where there has previously been little activity. Good luck, hope all goes well, and keep us updated!
