Hey fellas, just curious not having played in a tournament before do you have to pre-register or just turn up before it starts?

Thanks a lot guys.

Depends on the tournament - generally speaking, yes, as it enables the tournament organiser to provide a better structured plan of events.
Most tourneys will allow pre-registration, but also registration on the day (although there will always be a cut off an hour or so before the event is due to start)

Hi Lorenzo

The Liverpool amateur competitions will kick off at 9pm sharp, and you only have to pay one £1 entry fee for the whole series. The sign-up sheet will be on the tables from around 8pm onwards, those who are signed up will be entered into the draw, teams will be seeded by the order in which they sign up/arrive so it may be to your advantage to get there early.

If coming to Lime Street by train, turn left when you get into the station concourse, Bolton St is directly opposite the exit by the taxi rank, so it is literally a 2 minute walk. The nearest bus stop from the south of the city is outside Lewis's on Renshaw Street.

Regards

Boris

Thanks for the swift reply guys, especially Boris' with extra details.

We were thinking of getting there quite a bit earlier anyway as to try and get used to the tables (usually attempt to play on tornadoes). See you there :)

Hey guys, just wanting to clarify a few things. Will there be a garlando table there from about 3 ish ? me and my brother were fancying coming down a bit earlier and getting in a lot of practise as we haven't played on garlando for many years. Also will the Rileys membership be needed as our cards are missing but we are members at Bolton.

There are 2x Olympic Silver Garlando tables (with through-rods) available at the venue 24/7/365, so please feel free to practice whenever you want.

I'll try to get down earlier for some games. Also, if you just explain the situation to whoever is at the desk then you'll be fine.
