I haven't been to the rainbow yet, but I'm gonna trek up there pretty soon - can you get some digital camera pics of the place and the guys?

Sorry been in blue-arsed fly mode, with a tooth abscess which has knocked me sideways for a bit.

Yes final Rainbow DYP & 2004 NWPOY awards tonight - in about half an hour...

For those querying Novice of the Year - the rule was that players who were no higher ranked than Novice on Tornado or Amateur on Garlando at the start of the year or in their first NW event were eligible.

Just a note to say that this Friday 24 Dec being Xmas eve, the regular Friday session is being brought forward to Thursday 23rd - the word 'Curry' seems to have been mentioned somewhere I think...

Had a call from Les to say most of the regulars will be down the Rainbow on Thursday 30th and not New Years Eve on Friday.

Not to say the Rainbow wouldn't make a preferable alternative to staying home and being sad on NYE, but I've got other plans too :D :D :D

is friday the most popular night for foos at the rainbow?
FOR EGO OR SPORT?
www.irishfoosball.com
Why do you play?
If it's for fun ,why keep score?
Best whish's to all in Germany.
What a party it's going to be.
If i was not playing i would still be there.
It is the way it will be 2006WC.

Advance Notice that next Sunday (16 Jan) will be the Rainbow Foosball Club's annual

Curry Night

A mission to the curry mile in Rusholme starts in the Rainbow at 9pm.

Can people say if they are coming so we can have an estimate of numbers.

Can I be cheeky and suggest that a 9pm start in the Rainbow is a bit late? Was the plan to foos first and then go for a curry, or just meet there and leave at 9pm (more likely 10pm from my Rainbow experiences!).

Given that kind of start time, whether I go straight home, or stay in Town for some drinkys, it will be a very late finish.

I'll come anyway, but just wondered why we're not meeting earlier.
