On a Social Note:
It was great to see the regulars and not-so-regulars supplemented
by an All-Star cast of visitors.
Special thanks to Sarah & Richard, and Greg & Marta for making the journey from Bath.
Also brilliant to see a resurrected Pete Lawrenson dancing the Light Fantastic.
Very sorry that Geoff Brice couldn't make it, but he was inducted into the Royal Oak
House of Cards (another story for another time)

So - Fabulous Table Fooball, Fantastic Food, First-Class 'Freshments.
Can YOU afford to miss out on First Friday at the Royal Oak?

Sounds like a fun time for all.

I just wish there was some way I could remember when these are...

The date is always a week after the last Friday in a month - easy.
Sorry could not be there but good to see Peter and Indie representing North Birmingham.

Erm, I think it's actually going to be on the 9th now. We spoke to the Barman at the end of the night.

I suggest waiting for Paul A to confirm.

The Hand of Doom has preached a sermon from the mound - "Good Friday cannot be a First Friday"
Therefore the stoning of lesser players and the consumption of the five fishes and two loaves has been re -arranged to the week after.
