Just wanted to say thank-you to the Royal Oak guys for last night.

By my count 8 (?) of the players had travelled over an hour to get there. Few (any?) other foos venue in the country could boast that from an evening session. Speaks volumes for the guys there, and the efforts they make for everyone to have a great time.

Joe,

A big THANKYOU right back at you for coming along on Friday - and to
all those who travelled from far and wide.

We had 9 teams -
John Worthington & Joe Bundy - Won 6 : Lost 2
Brendan & Alex - W1 L7 Hat1
Dom & Mark - W3 L5
Deg & Indi - W6 L2
Paddy & Sam - W3 L5
Greg & Alina - W3 L5
Martyn & Blake - W2 L6
Roger & Bill - W5 L3
Rich & Potts - W5 L3

The joint winners were John & Joe, and Deg and Indi.
They also had the exact same goal record of 35-25.
Indi had to leave before a play-off decider therefore the
combined Win Pot of £20 (Engish) pounds was shared -
well done to all!

Mentioned in Despatches:
Brendan & Alinanananaaaa - for the tin of Roses
Brendan - for wearing the Silly Santa Hat all night
which raised his final position from Last to Ninth
Notes added to the scoresheet -
eg. - "Flawless Victory" (Potts)
"Wipeout" (Paddy)
"Dead Meat" (Deg
"Roadkill" (anon)
Great food served up by the Pub
Martyn - for his Massive Beef Casserole & Roast Potato Butty
Blake, Mark, and Sam - Huge joy at seeing newcomers
making great progress
Indy - for his winning goal vs John & Joe
Joe - for his amazing two 2-Bar goals against me
John - for his fun approach

Hope John can link some photos in - I'll try as well.

Cheers,
Bill

Who's planning on going tomorrow?

I'll try and get some friends to come if there's a good group.

Happy Christmas to everyone at The Royal Oak.

Big thanks to Bill, Paul, Deg, Roger and all the regulars that put this on every week with great attendances.

Look forward to seeing you all in 2012

Cheers for putting on the event, I will certainly try my level best to get more of the 'Warwick lot' down at some point. It really was a barrel of laughs. Hope to see you all again in the near future.

Spencer
