Paddy - sorry you can't make (but more mince pies for me!)

Brendan - it is indeed the Christmas Bash - let me know of your dietary requirements

Chris - you're most welcome - looking forward to seeing you - people will be arriving from 8:00 - 9:00

Merry Christmas

Had a Text message on Sunday evening from the Royal Oak saying the glass had been broken on one of the tables. I have been to look at the damage today and the glass playing surface is completely shattered and unplayable. The Oak have offered to pay for a new glass and i have posted on the classifieds asking for info where to buy one from. I will not be there on Friday as I am going to France for the World cup.

Chris,

That's bad news - I would have suspected you but your shots MELT the glass!
Maybe it was Martin's HAMMER Shot!

All - please note no food this Friday.

Cheers
Bill

Get a new glass from Lifestyle leisure in Stockport (Stan McKenna), you'll probably want the underlay as well as spilt beer tend to stick it to the back of the playfield, Not too expensive!

Brillant footy last night.

Joining the local professionals were John Worthington, Joe Bundy, Richard Potts, Sarah Brice, Fitz and Kelly.
Great to see Indi for the first time this year - still brillliant despite little practice!

We had 8 quality teams in the DYP - congratulations go to Brendan and Deg who won a tightly-fought competition on goal difference.

Hoping that we can fix a match vs Tamworth via Fitz.

Planning to field a couple of teams at the Bath Tournamant - Pub Section.

Cheers
Bill

Hi Bill and everyone at Nuneaton-Royal Oak circle,

Really sorry that we couldn't make it to Nuneaton last Friday, owing to the last minute problem with the car. I was so much looking forward to seeing you all again.

I don't know when I'll be able to come to Leicester next time, but I hope that it will be a Friday for a trip to Nuneaton. I have always enjoyed the pleasant ambiance you've created there.

Bill, will you please pass my best regards to everybody in the Nuneaton circle?

See you all soon.

Errol
