Paddy, the mini tournament is on the first Friday of each month unless someone knows better, I won't be there this week as I am at the Masters tournament.

Thanks Chris, I was getting mixed up with the dates (again)

Don't bother going to The Masters Chris,

It seems like there is more money to be won at Nuneaton.

Paddy your probably right but i have never played for the money, all this winging about the size of the payout is usually done by the people who usually win money, I wonder if they would turn up if there was no prize fund at all. We should be thankful that there are people putting in the effort to arrange tournaments and not wine about payouts, these people should think back to when they first started playing tournaments, did they moan about the size of the prize fund then ?. If your only playing for the money then your playing the wrong game. Sorry for the rant but at the end of the day it is a game and money should not come into it.

What a tremendous surprise for us when Chris Hadden showed up unexpectedly (from the UK Masters) last Friday - bringing Tony Spredeman, Damian Glavin and Sharon Fogarty along with him. The Friday Tournament was made extra special - and thanks to all you guys for showing up.

Great to meet Damien & Sharron last Friday (and Sunday).
I went to Penkridge for a couple of hours Sunday,
I thought the venue was great but shame about the turn-out.
There was plenty of room for a few Garlando tables - that could have increased the numbers.
One reason for this post is I'm not being notified when replies are posted despite the box being ticked - anybody else having the same problem?

I am writing to put on record my thanks to all members of the Nuneaton group as I will have moved to the Middlesbrough area from tomorrow morning onwards.

My thanks to each and every one of the players in Nuneaton, all of whom I gained as good friends and all are real gentlemen and ladies. Particular thanks to Chris for maintaining the group and to Paddy for inviting me to there in the first place.

Since last November, I have played there probably 7-8 times, and I have enjoyed it each time, including my last one (23 July) when Paddy was unfortunately not there to meet an ex-champion (obviously - me, not Tony Spr!!!). :)

So, goodbye my friends. In the future, I will try to visit you if I can come to Leicester on a Friday.

Thanks to you all again. Keep enjoying your foosball sessions.

We'll miss you - you've certainly added to the fun and variety on Fridays.
All the best at Middlesbrough and please keep in touch.

Kind Regards

It's the one venue in the entire UK where you don't have to ask this question.

Games from 8.30.

Every Friday.

Hi John,

Of course we'll be there on Friday - can't promise many World Champions I'm afraid  . But your presence will obviously attract others!

Looking forward to seeing you.
