Alina and I might not make it tomorrow, and we won't be there next week for (almost) sure, so apologies in advance - if someone wants to keep the results I'll post them in a couple of weeks if we don't make it tomorrow.

see you all soon

As you know, we got kicked out of the pub and into the marquee a couple of weeks back.

Now we have been moved to the far end of the marquee that has been  partitioned off so nobody can see us while they enjoy their fish suppers (pub is now doing fish and chips etc)

Last time I was there the lighting was bad, JW left early and I wasn't far behind him.

I believe that the landlord has given the regs some lights to put up so it should be OK now.

Downside is no members of the public will be putting any money in these tables while they are hidden away out of view,

It won't be long before we are relegated to the car park.

Paddy,

Downside - I agree we're remote from the main pub

Upsides -  Fish & Chip R GR8 - try the Moby Dick!
              Got Lights up now;
              Can play our own CD's (wait for JW's 11th Track!)
              The pub forgets we're there and we get late drinking!

Backside - Fisk & Chips not doing great - can see us moving to
               near end of the marquee

Keep Smiling   :-}

Bill

Dash and Blast, I can never remember is it third or second friday of the month......?

From bad memory its third in which case its 20th June, either way I'm pretty sure there will not be a BYP before the tournament, as it obviously won't happen if its 13th due to the tournament.

DYP is of course on all the other fridays....

We usually have the BYP on the 3rd Friday of the month.
However, owing to low turn-out, it has been deferred and will
happen tonight as long as we get a decent turn-out.

We will be at the Holywell on Friday 12th September. Chance for people to meet, play and discuss the future. It needs to be a group decision so if you are able to contact Scott and Jodie etc please let them know. Although this could be discussed by e-mail if they cannot make it.

This message applies to any other Holywell regular who may be reading this.

We have now moved Nuneaton Town/Boro Sports bar at Liberty Way Nuneaton. Starting this Friday 26th September

Its in the Boro sports bar. peole start to gather at 8.30. Entrance to the ground is very dark but it is there. You have to drive past the Rugby team's clubhoouse and go behind the Dead End (End nearest the Crematorium) and the Social Club is in the far corner. Ring me on 07986 465099 if you can amke it and/or get lost on the way.

Thanks to Bill the landlord for all his hospitality but unfortunately the tables would not stand up to the cold conditions of the Marquee in winter.
