Na i literally came back for the night, I have a feeling it may take some organising.  I'll get my sis to speak to some of the lads, one night in Karlo's another in barrels me thinks.  Then add up the wins, or how do u think we should we do it?

The biggest problem will be getting my guys to play with Bloop balls. Thats the most common complaint i get when they talk about playing on non tornado tables.

We could play both at our place if you want as we have both table types. The decidedrs on Roberto Sport. World cup style.

Give me a bell when you sort it out - I finish Uni at the end of march for easter - so maybe do it as a warm up for the HTO?

I'm liking this idea, i'm feeling competitive already!
I agree with the balls problem as well, so hopefully get some good balls for this lil tourny, but of course the main ocjective is to not complain but embrace the difference in tables!!! Is that too much to ask?!  Probably, but we will try.  I'm seeing a great night of spirited competition and skill...

I pledge allegiance to the sign outside the Barrels, and to the high quality beer and foosball for which it stands. One pub, the original, with Dorothy Goodbody's and the traditional salt and vinegar/pickled egg combination for all.

I love the Barrels!
I love this stupid game!

Actually we have MOssy aswell as he is a regular Karlo's man.

Are team is looking good.

We have a 7 man squad some one is bound to be unavaliable. And we can rotate if not.

OK so a few Barrells guys are up for this, I think your rude post about how they all suck helped!

We have:
Sarah Brice
Louise Brice
Geoff Brice
Rob Kay
Ross
Spanner
Alex

Maybe's:
Clegg Tassel
Will

So there's a couple I need to confirm it with but we should have about 10 people, so have you got a team of 10?  Women's games as well of course.  When would be best time for everyone?  I'm thinking in the summer some time when there's a foos tourny drought.

Summer is good for me, obv as I'm back in Liverpool now for a few months.
I'm sure I could get some of my friends to come up to make up the karlo's numbers too. They were going to come to hereford last weekend, but couldn't cause of a last minute major change of plans.

Ha not so much equality but respect Mase!  Women are different bioliogically hence womens events.  Hmm I think I'm being too nice here but I guess we don't have to as this is just a friendly competition after all, or lets try and keep it that way anyway *says the competitive one*

Mase, just add vicki to the team. Doesn't matter who you get to play with her (and I know someone) those Brice's are going down!

Joe stop talking you're making this worse.

1) sarah has picked 10 as the barrels have lots of players

2) no format has been agreed on.

3) the league plays 4 in a team (8 people can play but less games each) and Oxford Uni and Cambridge Uni traditionally play 8 players in a fixture. This is what im thinking is nearer whats appropriate as we have less players.

Hey guys don't forget the Barrale Draw Your own Partner competition tonight.  Two tables, prize money and free to enter, kick off about 8, always a great night!

Sounds good, 8 in a team it is as I wasn't thinking about the format of matches to use.

Wow we had a fantastic night at the Barrels last night!  Had 9 teams and two tables, the results were:

1)Clegg + Ruppert
2)Geoff + Ali
3)Will +?   (I think)

Thats all I can remember.  I went out straight away but still had a great time watching the intense matches and hilarious banter mainly between Geoff and Clegg in the final.  The guys have got really good and everyone is a tough match there at the moment.  Really looking forward to more of those over the summer!

Couldn't go that one as I was under the surgeon's knife earlier that day, I was still tempted though.
A mixture of general anethesthic and a bottle of Henry Westons Vintage would have hit the spot  :D . Should be a good summer for table football in the Barells this year so I had better play more often, last time was well over a month ago.
