BRISTOL DYP SERIES

Five Bar Foosball would like to introduce the Bristol DYP Series, our newest competitive league in Bristol. After considering the feedback from players about our first league, the Bristol Championship, we've changed a few things this time around.

Every Monday from 7:30pm in the FoosRoom in Clifton, Bristol, there'll be a DYP on the Fireball table.
Entry is £5 and half of all the money paid in is awarded to the winners for that evening.
Additionally, each week that you play in the DYP you score points towards an overall league, lasting for six weeks. The highest placing players in this league will win trophies/medals as a prize.
When not playing matches you'll be able to play on the other tables in the venue including a Bonzini, a Lowen and a Tournament Soccer.

So the first session of this series went off pretty smoothly and I can see this competition being a keeper, so to speak.

Remember: if you're in Bristol on a Monday night and fancy the chance to play foos with some friends, have a few beers, and win some money playing in a Fireball DYP then head on down to the FoosRoom for 7:30.

After talks with the guys at the FoosRoom, Five Bar Foosball will no longer be running events there as they have plans to run their own events going forward. As such, the DYP league being run by Five Bar on Monday nights has now come to a close.

I've enjoyed running the events that Five Bar Foosball has run at the FoosRoom, and look forward to seeing what the FoosRoom guys will to do with their unique and dedicated venue. Expect any announcements about future events at the FoosRoom to come from the people running the FoosRoom rather than myself.
