At the moment THE pig n fiddle Blocky foot.

If interest is good a second table could be brought it...either another blocky or my telescopic pinny...but only if interest is big enough.

Snakes are allowed...if you're that way inclined ;)

the nearest place is a car park almost opposite the front entrance ( broad street). If you are travelling up hill it is about 100 yards further on the left. (You have to go through the archway.)

I'm not sure wot the car park is for...but ive parked there before and it was free in the evening.

Equally, you can park on the side of the road on walcot street a little further up from the beer garden entrance. (Opposite the Bell has the most free spaces). It has a time limit during the day, but im not sure about the evening.

Had a great night last night. Lots of fun, lots of beer, lots of laughs and lots of good quality blocky foot foos.

Huge thankyou to everyone who came, especially those from bristol. Good to see you all again.

the results were:

1. Cyrano, Wooly
2. Shovie, Luke
3. Potts, Will
4. Sarah, Steve
5. Martyn, Matt
5. Mase, Jimmy
5. Rob.D, Charles
5. Josh, Mike
9. Jon.M, Adrian
9. Dave. B, Erin

1st place took home £20 each and trophies (crafted by the gods.)
2nd place took home £10 each
3rd place took home £2.50 each

Due to the awesome turnout the bar staff mentioned that we may be allowed more room next month, allowing us to bring in a second table.

Thanks once again,
Rich

What a great night !

Amazingly the same actual table we used to play on every week way back when, before we ever saw a Tornado. Recognised a few familiar faces too. The Pig was/is a fab pub, (Jon, any chance of digging up the old corrupted files to post previous national Pig events?)

Well done Rich, you know it was a great fun night, a blockyfoot snake free laugh on freeplay with egg balls. Please thank Geoff for the sponsorship, thanks to your goodself for running it and pre-reg me for the next one!

Oh, and Shovie, being serious for a moment here, that was a truly spectacular display of shooting from the back, you b*****d !

This shows (thanks to Herr May for finding it) that some 8 years ago, 32 teams in OD and 55 in Open Singles demonstrates Bath, namely the Hat and Feather, could certainly hold an event...............details of the bigger one at the Pig and Fiddle when the Canadians came over will hopefully follow.

PS: I naturally let Rob win the OS final as I spotted early talent and didn't want to dampen his spirits.
