Table Footy back in Bath

Post by joshjaeger » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:53 pm

Hello all,
There is a new venue in Bath. Well actually an old one reborn.
The Bell on Walcot St now has 2 Tables. One open top Bonzini with ITSF players and Balls[/color] in lovely nick. 50p for 9 balls. Also one old, glass top (Bryce) Garlando in need of a little TLC with old balls, 9 for 40p
Me and a few guys play down there every Tuesday evening, from 7:30 ish. It gets pretty cold but the competition gets the blood going.

The bell is a great pub with a wide variety of real ales and a plethora of other booze.

I also work with the TFC. I will try and get down there soon to clean the blocky foot.

Great and exciting indeed,
Nice to get some interest so quickly. I am always up for a game (when it fits in with family life).
The Block footed table is pretty bad but isn't beyond the pale. Not sure I know what TFC is but sounds like you do good work. If you can make it to tuesday that would be great. And if you know any other bath foosers then do pass on the info.

Hope to meet you soon

yeh, I will be there. Hopefully i can get a couple of others to come aswell.

We were told about a year ago that they didnt have the table anymore. In light of the new information I will get it cleaned up as much as possible next week.

Hi Rich,
Was good to meet you and Johnny. I really enjoyed playing, despite the fact that my toes still feel a bit funny. Did you find enough petrol money to get out of town or are you around? I am thinking of going out this evening to play a bit and was wondering. I assume it is NUS only at your union? If not I might pop along if that is OK. I could even bring a couple of players. Let me know.

Send a text if it is easier

If that does not work out for some reason you can always pop over to the crown keynsham where a few of us will be playing from 8.15 ish on Tornado.
