Great night with some good foos and nice formats due to only four teams in the comp.

Please check Crown Annual Players Championship thread for results and latest standings.

Great to see Chris and Gregg tonight.

Some very good incredibly tense and hard fought games .

teams as follows for DYP

me and Rob d (just lucky i guess!)
famous Al and James
Mase and Chris l
Gregg and Ben

Greggs five was excellent and they were unbeaten in the group stage, beating me and Rob much to his annoyance

Chris Lyals defending was also V good.

However myself and rob finally came good in the SE stage and won overall.
My trophy and t shirt will be rolled over to the next one!

Great practice for Penkridge

Hi Guys,

I’ve decided by throw in my wraps for the foreseeable. Had a bad time with tendonitis in both arms with my wrist and elbows recently. It was coming really and was only a matter of time, was putting far to much force through my arms to often. I’ve had both arms x-rayed and the doctor said I haven’t done any permanent damage to any bones and cartilage, and my arms are feeling better of late. I guess I’ve also got a bit of apprehension over playing now as well. Anyway that’s it for foos for me for now.

I just wanted to say cheerio and thanks , didn’t want to drop off the radar without saying anything.

Take care,

Ben

Thats a real shame Ben,

over time I am sure you will recover ok and then maybe you can play just for fun once in a while or start to use some less demanding techniques .

Hopefully see you sometime anyway.

Hi All,

It is also my birthday the next day so be good to celebrate with some foos and friends potentially. I may even inject some extra cash on top of the awesome ftrophies and t shirts :D !

So book it in the diary Thursday 19/8 8.15pm.
