Come along to the ISHA Club in Kingston Surrey, tomorrow night and we can talk about it. DYP if we get enough people there before 8.

Having played a few times over at The Swan in Kingston I can say that playing in Kingston is great fun and you'll learn a shed load very fast! My only problem is getting there and back as it's a fair hike for me.

I'm going to try and get into Kingston when time (and the wife) permit but would like to have something regular happening a bit closer to home if people are interested. Do any of the Woking/Guildford players want to check out this place in Godalming some time? (Obviously if anyone outside Woking/Guildford wants to come they're very welcome!)

Meant to have a tornado so should be interesting and a chance to see if there are any decent local players.

probably worth giving the pub a call and a) double checking the table still exists and b) asking if there are any regular or busy nights for it - it seems like a popular/respected pub anyway

it'd be nice to get a tornado in the guildford rileys like the manchester one

I've dropped Anthony Kay a PM, he organised the Manchester table and so may be able to point us in the right direction in how to approach Rileys in Guildford.

I'll copy any info he has to this thread and then we'll probably need to start looking into increasing our player base (3 of us in the area might not be really interesting to Reillys even with a regular night if we are asking them to put in a table for us!).

its always fairly busy with pool and snooker players, putting up a poster about a regular night would probably encourage some ppl to give it a go

Antony suggests we hold fire on the Guildford branch until they've had some extra time to measure the success in Manchester. The key point is to have the management support early in the process.

Whilst waiting for the outcome up North it might be good to pencil in a date for a game over in Godalming if we establish if they have a table still!

(Andrew) Nubbert lives in Godalming, Surrey! He's back from Uni for the easter holidays atm, and I know he has a Garlando World Champion table in his house - so if you wanna play a decent player on a good table in your area pm him! (username: ybbun)

Looks like we need a new idea. My table is not going to be available for a while as I've got new sofas being delivered tomorrow and then need to do a load of work in the garage.

Only other tornado on the list is in Leatherhead and that's too much of a trek to be fun so I guess we're looking for a decent spec, well maintained Garlando table somewhere in the area. Anywhere you guys fancy trying?
