Venue Listings - Please tell us about New or Dead Venues

Post by Boris » Wed Feb 21, 2007 9:12 pm

A full list of venues appears on the BFA venue listings page:
http://www.britfoos.com/WhereToPlay/Locations.php

However most of these listings are at least 5 years old, and probably well over 50% will no longer have tables.  If you are thinking of visiting a venue please ring in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please check the venue listings in your area and using this thread let us know about any new venues, dead venues (no longer has a table etc), changes of name or details etc.

This will allow the venue listings to be kept more up to date.

Tip - If you want to find out about new venues the best way is to find out who operates pool tables/jukeboxes/bandits in your local pubs (usually the operator has a sticker with a phone number) and give them a ring to ask if they have any footie tables on site locally where you can play.

Dear Boris,

I tried to find the Slurping Toad which was listed on your website as being on 34-36 Ludgate Hill City London EC4. It appears to have been replaced by another bar / restaurant and I thought you'd appreciate knowing, so you can update your website.

Great website by the way.

Kind Regards,

Robin Moscoso

New Venue Alert:
I've just managed to put my Garlando Coperto Deluxe table in a the Papermill bar on Curtain Road:
http://www.fancyapint.com/pubs/pub2899.html
It's right on the edge of the City, within spitting distance of Bar Kick, and only 50p for 10 balls :)
Cheers
Dan

The Southern Belle in Fulham has a table. It's:
Southern Belle
176 Fulham Palace Road
London W6 8QT

The table is a strange one with metal players with pointed feet, a heavily sloped playing surface, and 4 attacking players but 3 mid-fielders. Possibly a VAL http://www.futbolinesval.com/our.htm. It's very sturdy and in good condition though.
