A friend of mine from Nottingham is thinking about going to this. She's a novice and has never been to a tournament before.

So my question is, honesty now, is anyone going to go to this? I really don't want to recommend it to her if it's going to be like the last one with about 7 people there. Events like that are going to kill off the interest in national tournaments for brand new players.

So is the word in the London scene that this will be pretty well attended?

And please don't just give me the standard 'yeah, of course everyone should turn up to this!' because we've lost new players before due to small/boring tournaments. So I'd really rather not kill off the interest of a friend!

Thanks!

There is a Facebook event page already. Secretly I reckon we may get a good turnout.
