Uk Masters Penkridge July 23-25

Post by Damo » Thu Jul 01, 2010 1:26 pm

Irish Foosball Association

So far 3 players from Ireland have confirmed that they are attending.
The committee wish them the best of luck.

Any other Irish Players planning on attending please be aware that this is an ITSF sanctioned event and an ITSF license is required to participate.

There are currently a number of licenses suspended due to non-payment of IFA membership fees.

Any outstanding fees can be paid to the Treasurer Des O Rourke or any other committee member John McDonnell,Sharon Fogarty or Damian Glavin.

Kind Regards,

Damian Glavin

Secretary

Hi Dave

I stand corrected I understand it is an ITSF request rather than a regulation.

Sure it was worth a try to see if we could squeeze a measly few bob from a few players.

Wrong again at least my spelling of the word SHERIFF is correct.

Maybe I will see you there.

Boris, are you posting this as ITSF committee or as BFA committee?

Would it be possible for the tournament director (Stephen Lyall I think) to clarify what's going on here.

I wont be baring players from entering because they're not paid up with their national organisation.

I have no idea what it means when it comes to being awarded itsf points etc...but I don't think anyone cares about that. I just want anyone to be able to come and just play, simple.

I posted in a private capacity, simply relaying info which is in the public domain (if you know where to find it).

I have no wish or intention to take sides.

As usual you always get it wrong. His name is Marmaduke Bordello to
be precise. Rob stormed out of the A.G.M. in a huff and did'nt pay his
membership for the year. He was only being used as a pawn by more
experienced, jaded and unrealistic players. The I.F.A. are trying to move
the game
forward but you will always have the usual suspects trying to
throw a spanner in the works. God love them maybe someday they
will grow up and get a life.

By the way for my membership and commitment I got a lovely
Nike tracksuit and three green Ireland tops. Thanks again to
all the committee members and others who put in the hard work
and effort to get the Irish team kit and cover some of the expences
for the Worlds last Jan. They did alot more than the three previous
so called committees put together.

Hope that clears thing up for you. Good Luck.

Dave your a lovely lad. Are you not working at the moment?
You seem very restless. But you need to lay off the pints so early in the day :drinking:
and they are doing a great deal down in specsavers at the moment.

Take it easy dude and dont let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy.

Hi everyone :fadein: ,

I, for one, would just like to say it'd be lovely to see Louise, Norman and Dave and any other Irish players thinking of attending ......... at the Penkridge Tournament

I hope whatever queries you have Dave & Lou regarding participation in the aforementioned tournament .... will be clarified and answered in a satisfactory manner.

I also want to say .... I totally condemn Colm's (aka the Rocker) comments aimed at Dave L ...... It is unnecessary and totally uncalled for  ......

I wish all good luck and hope everyone, whether player or spectator has a great weekend 8) ....

Love, Peace & Good Stuff

xx Sharon xx

Hi Louise,

All are more than welcome to attend. Having you guys over here enhances our tournaments in terms of enjoyment and the quality of play. Joe and I are of the stance that anyone who wants to participate can participate, whether or not they have an ITSF licence. This is in no way intended to undermine the procedures that you have in place for holding an ITSF licence - we just want it to be possible for you all to attend.

That is all that I am going to say on this matter.

Steve

Its not (The Rocker) its just Rocker. I have to totally condem every thing you
said to me the thur. before last. You were ranting like a total lunatic and you
should take a chill pill and calm down. You were totally

Anyways may the force be with anyone travelling to this comp and fly the flag with
pride. But we really dont need the points. Have fun

Good luck to one and all. :)

HI Colm,

I've no idea what's wrong with you ..... why you feel the constant 'need' to be hostile and inappropriate ..... all i can do is wish you well ..... and hope that whatever it is that appears to have set you off....... resolves itself ......

Thank you for your good wishes ...... they're much appreciated.

Good wishes to you and your family

xx Sharon xx

ps ...... This is a site about foos issues ....... Not personal ones ... Try to respect that ..... Thanks x

Lord oh Lord, thank you for the reminder Colm of the reason why I don't play out any more.

Firstly from the way you attacked Dave L. - wow you don't know him at all do you.

Secondly the attack on Sharon - My God, isn't she meant to be a friend who you play foosball with twice a week? The people who I play with would never do that to a foosball buddy!

I know you'll come back with a back lash against me or Norm - Don't care!!

Hey Colm, hope you are well,i was having a light slagging match with Damo[ the sheriff ]
and you come along with all that waffle, you didn't mind drinking my pints in France, or smoking my cigs or me lending you money, if you have anything to say about me you can say it to my face,Rob went to the meeting cause he wanted to and i doubt you know what a pawn is, let alone move one.
if someone asks a question, you should answer that qustion, not go off on one, talking about what someone said to you last tuesday, do you not realize that everybody in the foos world reads this and you dont do yourself any favours.
