Has anyone tried self-levelling feet with a table?

Seems like an obvious solution to the problem of wonky tables, assuming the weight distribution of the table matches the level of the playing surface this should really be a zero-maintenance solution, no more farting about under tables turning feet around or propping those expensive Tornado tables up with beer mats. I can't personally try it until my wrist gets the all clear from the physio but if nobody's had a go by the time I do I might give them a go...

but maybe you could calibrate the table by a one-time addition of lead weights to the inside corners?
