Fundamentals Of Foosball

Post by Rob Atha » Mon Mar 30, 2009 11:31 am

Eric Dunn, a Pro Master from canada he posted a few videos explaining the 5 fundamentals of foosball here, very interesting and good practice tips.

He follows the 5 basic steps and explains them all in detail and how it helps his game in big matches.

Here is the link to his page on youtube, start from the beginning and watch it through.

GREAT STUFF!

IT'S A GREAT KIND OF A MENTAL GUIDE TO THE GAME FOR AN AMATEUR-ROOKIE LEVELED PLAYER (LIKE I AM)

HIS VIDEO BLOG IS A RARE CHANCE TO ACTUALLY COMPREHEND WHAT'S GOING ON IN A GOOD PLAYER'S HEAD - SOMETHING YOU JUST CANNOT COPY FROM WATCHING VIDEOS OR EVEN PLAYING AGAINST A PRO-MASTER
ALSO I LIKED THIS STRUCTURED MENTAL APPROACH TO THE GAME HE BUILDS - THE CONTROL-SETUP-READ-DECICE-EXECUTE SYSTEM VERY MUCH - IT'S LIKE A SUMMARY OF IDEAS THAT ARE BUBBLING IN EVERY PLAYER'S MIND BUT NOONE YET BOTHERED TO SUMMARISE AND TALK THEN INTO THE CAMERA - AT LEAST I NEVER SAW SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN A FREE DISPLAY ON THE NET
THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THAT LINK ROB!

Really good channel for beginners like me, thanks Rob

It's not always possible to search Youtube to find good channels related with Foosball, especially for beginners.
