Whats the best way to develop fast twitch muscle fibres (the ones predominantly used in foos)?

Not sure Tom, the answer to your question - however one thing I believe is important is your thumb should be as inactive or as passive as possible.

Your thumb activates what could best be described as your 'pinch muscle' which will slow down your muscle actions.

Try it - relax your arm and then pinch say the end of a desk with thumb and index finger lightly and notice how your forearm muscle tenses.

Hope that helps someone.

I could bore everyone but i wont bother. Its very simple. Decide which muscles are involved in the movement, the train those muscles to be ballistic, (heavy weights, low reps).

This was covered in a discussion before with myself and Mark williams in another thread.
