world cup

Post by Elvis » Fri Jun 25, 2010 10:44 pm

If anyone is around Darlington tomorrow (26th june) come and see The Darlington Annual Foosball World Cup at The Model T Pub.

64 players are taking part representing 32 nations.

We're using 3 Garlando Coperto's, and beaming the Score Charts through two 42" Plasma Screen TVs

We're also having singles knock out and half time world cup quiz.

Local celebrity Brain Hairms will also be taking part (with a handy cap of course).

This is a charity event, £5 Entry (Free T Shirt) all proceeds going to our local hospice.

Come along and enjoy some fun, and see the only tournamnet England can win this summer - you might event get a game!

Hi Martin

64 players is a brilliant result.

What you guys have pulled off is a fantastic blueprint for getting people interested at a grass roots level.

Outstanding!

Thanks Patrick, it was a great day too. One of the spin-off's was 3 new players joined our local league.
