World Cup 2010 - Call for Coaches / Team Managers

ITSF wrote:• The coach (manager/coordinator)
The coach can not be a playing team member.
He/she will be in charge of making sure the
team is well organized such as respecting the
schedule of matches, the dress code, etc. He/
she will be the intermediary between his/her
team and ITSF.
If there is no coach, the captain will take on the
coach responsibilities.
Each of the 4 GB World Cup teams (Men, Women, Junior, Senior) is permitted to bring a team coach. In the past coaches have been invaluable for team organisation, taking some of the weight off the Captain's shoulders, and boosting morale.

If you aren't a playing team member and would like to be part of the team, please send an email to alex [dot] shovelton {at} britfoos (dot) com stating which team you would like to coach.

Good Luck,

The BFA Committee

Please note that the coach of the Junior team must be willing to undergo a CRB check prior to being confirmed. Sorry, but that is the way of the world these days.

Bump!

So far only 2 applications for the Men's team. None for the rest!

Does the coach have to be eligible for the national team himself or can he be caught in an aimless, lawless limbo between the national team and some other national team beginning with R?

No, coach can by anyone who is going, but not someone who is playing.

You're considering trying to play for Romania?

is the team planning on staying in the same hotel as last year? if so can anyone remember how much it was?
I ask this just incase someone was thinking of applying to be a coach...(for example the junior coach) and wanted to know roughly how much the weekend would cost them.
