This is a quick reminder that it would be very helpful if you could register online for this event if you are intending to come.

You can register here.

The registration form is very simple - it just asks for your name and to know on which days you'll be attending. There's no need to have partners sorted before registering.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you there!

The brand new Leonhart Coin opp is now installed in the Capital Venue Bar and available for use next week.
I believe a small fun DYP/foosball session to christen the table will be arranged for next Thursday.

However the following week the venue has a Major World Snooker Event on so its £10 for anyone to get in so you may need to leave it alone that week!!!

HI all,

just a couple of weeks or so to go to the event and the brand new tables are here so dont forget to book the Hotel using the method and discount code in the info pack as this is guaranteed to be the cheapest . If anyone has unwittingly booked using booking.com or expedia which will be more expensive let me know.

thanks

It'll be open in the morning for its normal working day. We're anticipating having everything set up for the tournament by about 16:00, but don't worry if you end up getting there a bit earlier - you'll still be able to get in.

"What events can I enter?"

If you've found yourself thinking this whilst flicking through the information about this event, as many have, then don't worry. I didn't realise at the time of writing, but looking back through the information pack and announcement post I'm going to accept that the information just isn't that clearly laid out. In hopes of correcting this, I have written a short guide explaining what events you can enter, and more generally how it all works.

Event Guide

Thanks for your patience,

Chris

Due to medical reasons, I have to stop playing table soccer during 6 till 8 weeks (doctor says 12 weeks but I can't stand so long time without table soccer) :(
Anyway, I will miss the Capital Venue and most of probably the Garlando WCS in Austria

Everybody knows I'm an

Quick question.

What is the procedure for event registration? (Sorry if you have put this somewhere and I've just missed it). Just wondering what time I'd actually have to turn up, before the scheduled event start time, so I don't get left out of the draw!

To register for an event you'll need to fill out a registration form on the day.

Basically, if you turn up at least half an hour before the scheduled start time well-prepared (know your partners, have money with you), then there'll be no problems. We'd advise people to arrive earlier though to get some practise on the tables and beat the queues at the registration desk.

We'll be accepting registration and payments for all events across the weekend on the Friday - the smart choice is to turn up early and get all the admin out of the way in one go.

Hi,
Only 2 days left until this first event at the Capital Venue.

Just a quick reminder that the last day to pre reg and acquire a free shirt is tomorrow.

Also a lot of work from a lot of people has gone into making this arrangement possible and I hope It can be the start of something quite special in terms of the potential for future Foosball events.
However for that to be the case the venue need to be happy afterwards so please can everyone going try not to bring in any food or drinks purchased outside the venue as this would not look very good given this is how the venue makes its money and I cannot guarantee they will not ban you from the premises. Also food and drink is very reasonable anyway.
In addition if any really rude or profane t shirts etc could be left at home for this one that would also be good

Apart from that I hope you have a great event and I am really looking forward to it!
