Good answer Joe.

Techincally could Jessa Hamilton represent the juniors and the women.

Yes I am eligible (born before 1-1-60)

As the Junior events are effectively world championship/world cup Trials, the cut-off date for Juniors should remain at 1-1-91 for this tournament, allowing all 6th formers and many 1st year students to take part.

"Novice – Novice singles, Novice doubles or Handicap, Amateur singles/doubles, Open singles/doubles, DYP, Team event"

sorry to be a pain, but doeas this mean novices can enter N.S, N.D, A.S, A.D, O.S, O.D etc but not handicapped. however if they did want to play in handicapped they couldnt play in novices.

(sorry if its a stupid question, the "or" has confused me)

Yup, if you're novice, then you have to make the decision between playing in novice doubles or handicap. The old schedule was a bit tight, with the large anticipated novice turn out, so thought it better to impose some exclusivity rather than compromise the novice doubles event.

Due to popular demand, I have added mixed doubles to the schedule for 10.30 am Sunday. The event will be groups 7.1 followed by SE 9.1, £2 entry fee for all ranks.
A field for Mixed has been added to the pre-reg (thanks Tom). If you have already pre-reg'd and wish to play mixed then you can simply PM me with your partner info, to save having to go through the whole process again.

Cheers, Joe.

Anyone know if there will be new rankings calculated after Reading? I'm just wondering whether I can play Pro sings/doubs or not (and obv would mean Han would have to find a different partner for pro doubs if I'm not in). Cheers!

Boris is still awaiting full results from Reading, he'll update the rankings as soon as he receives them.

I'm awaiting the results of AD, WS & WD, based on the results in so far you (Oli) will have gone up to PM (18 pts in OS, 18 in OD and +25 net Bonus points) = 2425 total.

Can you move Handicapped Doubles to 1:30pm so that I can have an extra 2 hours in bed?

Can you not hold senior events and just get the guys to meet at Dave Z's three times a year. Will save time and stop clashes.

Cheers

We'll see what the situation is on the day. If it looks possible then we'll be able to do something.

Can you move the tournament to Bristol, and change the date to some time in February?
