Jon I agree that we should pick our strongest table and not focus too hard on picking our opponents weakest table (we don't even know who will be in the 2010 world cup let alone who we'll be playing). Dave B points out that at the moment picking Tornado is a no-brainer. Personally I think this is a ...

You're wrong. There are 11 Bonzini tournaments a year, more than T & G put together. In that case we can include Bush and Bank BYPs to make more tornado tournaments than B&G put together. We need to improve on Bonzini but I can't see us picking it as our home table. We chose tornado last world cup ...

Hey Martyn, I think the whitish wrap is Joe's. I left an old purple and an old grey wrap.

Cheers.

Great night as always at the mighty one. Impressive tornado debut by Chris. Clearly a player with potential. Cheers to Nige for putting up with my erratic (rubbish) play. Pity we didn't make the prizes but hey still plenty of exciting games. Martyn, as always a great venue representitive, awesome pr...

Could you please clarify? I'm not sure what you intended to say here.
I think Pro-Masters should play with any Rookie in Pro-Am.
You haven't even explained why. No logic.

Why did you ask that question? Well why not? It's a perfectly valid question. I don't understand what you mean? What are you suggesting here? I'm suggesting that the word literally wasn't properly defined, and therefore Dave has a right; nay, a responsibility to question it's meaning. I hope this c...

Warwick partners thread

Thought I might as well start a partners thread.

I need partners for OD and MD. Don't care whether it's the same person for both or different people for each event.

Edit: Partners found.

 Hilarious. The most impressive part from that scene is when he takes his cap of, throws it to his side and it hits Dawn right in the face from all of 5 metres away.

At this stage it's probably best for us to film (and maybe vision mix but this isnt strictly necessary) the games and do the commentary later, not only because me and joe are only n00bs at it and we're likely to screw it up to begin with but because we'll be entering the tournament too! I would rat...

Well me and Martyn were clearly in trouble after winning our group. We felt as though we deserved to beat Mike and John because they came runners up in their group. I think this played against us; psychological disadvantage and all. But yes clearly Mike was complacent in the final after beating us o...

Bloody good foos venue. 2 new tables in our own foos room. Can't really ask for more. Really good DYP. Thank you to whoever suggested  to make the knockout DE instead of SE. Made a big difference  . Well played Martyn, looked like we were in trouble after getting knocked into the loser's bracke...

It's group stages.

edit: Using the Tornado ranking list you are 9th seed out of 18 pre-regged so far, so you would be in the pro half if they seeded it anyway.

Good games. Nice to see everybody improving on tornado. Bit weird, I don't think me or Mike played anywhere near our best up until the final where our combined blocking, passing and shooting were doing really well. Which brings me to Perhaps the king seat should have to be double dipped?  Like a rea...

25/03/2005 Bobby Moss Anyone remember this one too? Bobby Moss walks in, he's standing just behind the table with his pint and no-one has even noticed him yet and .... plop. The ball lands squarely in the middle of his pint. Honourable to the last he downs it. Haha! Funniest entrance ever. I think ...
