Walking the snake

Alright ladies and gents, In essence I'd like to know more about the mentality of walking the snake. I understand the concept of walking a pinshot but am I right in thinking the thought process differs? For example if I'm set up all the way out on the push-side (with a pinshot) it is easy enough for...

Re: Results and Afterglow for the European Fireball Open 201

PS: It seems the overall consensus is the best tournaments are the ones when the event and players accommodation are in the same place. This. It means people can socialise after they are out of their events a lot easier as people don't have to rush off or worry about getting back to their accommoda...

Re: Foosball Ball Guide

It has been agreed that each table can have an 'official' and and 'approved' ball, at least one of which should be produced by the manufacturer. The 'official' ball must be used in top-level (WCh, WCup, WCS & IS) tournaments but the approved ball can be used in Pro-Tour and Master Series events. No...

Re: Rules

Isn't it because of 'unsportsmanlike behaviour' or something. I swear when Billy scores you see Jamal complain loudly and then the ref gives a technical? Maybe Billy got the ref because Jamal was complaining a lot.

Re: The Barrels 1st Open UK Foosball Tournament: 14/08/11

Banning the snake and pin is probably to differentiate this tournament from a super-serious tournament and to encourage a different style of play. I personally feel a fun tournament with a bunch of friends/new people (future friends) having a laugh around a bar game (such as foosball) on a summer's ...

Re: Improving by playing with better players?

Maybe adrenaline kicks in more and you are absolutely focussed because you know how good the other person is. It makes you play less conservatively and forces you to think about what you're doing rather than just going through the motions. I know you could say this is what you should do every game, ...

Re: ITSF Pro Tour FOOSstock 2011, Lithuanian Countryside

If I wasnt graduating that week and if I wasnt poor I'd go.. I'm still tempted even though I know I can't. Graduation or foosball is a harder choice than it may seem..

Better late than never! Thanks to Greta, Rytis and all of the tournament helpers and organisers, this was really really good. Also an extra achoo to Greta L for giving us a place to sleep for a couple of nights, after living in a tent for 2 days or so it was really really needed, you're a hero. I re...

Re: Lithuanian Master Series May 20-22

I'm very tempted :D. No idea if I could compete very well at SP level over there, if it's similar to UK SP level then I might be alright? Lithuania seems awesome anyway, so even if I suck at foosball I could go for the adventure regardless. :P
