Re: ITSF World Cup and World Championships, Nantes 2012

Just got a Kozoom thing, such a shame about the game against France! The French looked in shock, it was brilliant, then you see a close up of Potts and Brice singing the national anthem for a nice contrast hahah. Also- Who needs the snake, eh? Its a rubbish shot anyway, I hear. Well done to everyone...

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if anyone will see this before tonight but I'll try to text Bill, but me, Laura, Spencer (Warwick) and Vincent (Warwick) will be joining you tonight :D.

Look forward to seeing you!

Re: Fireball Table worth it?

-There are 2 Tornado tourney tables at work that I really like, but I dont want to pay that much for a table at home. -I want something that will last, but am trying to keep it under £800. If I drop £1000+ on a table my wife will probably beat me with it. -Not going pro, just want to beat the socks...

Re: New ITSF sanctioned Garlando High Control Kicker Ball

I wish Garlando would just sort them selves out. Every tournament we have to deal with different ball types (no way in which am I blaming the organisers) and its just hard to get consistency. I think the past year in ITSF Garlando tournaments there have been Warrior, Magic balls, Speedplay, now High...

Re: New ITSF sanctioned Garlando High Control Kicker Ball

So Liverpool is using the old high control balls? They're similar anyway and i'd much prefer using them to using new magic balls or speedplay, bleh.

Re: Cambridge University Table Football Club (CUTFC)

Are any of your guys coming along to Liverpool? It'd be a good chance to get them involved with tournament foosball :D. Do you guys play on Garlando normally?

Good going btw, it looks like you're doing well :D

Re: Liverpool Open 2012 - Announcement

EDIT: Briefly, can someone confirm that the HCKB is actually a Barenherz with a different name? No, it's the 'new' ITSF Garlando ball. Actually the old high control ball - the heavy, orange, slightly furry one (description not to be confused with one of Bobby Moss). The high control ball is bigger ...

Re: Walking the snake

Yep, it all makes sense, cheers Joe :D. I guess the same 'irregular' or 'off-timing' logic can be said about setting the ball up into a pin and using a pinshot quickly once a defender has gotten used to you snaking a lot. I feel probably more comfortable with predetermined walking after rocking on t...

Re: Walking the snake

Thanks all, I've watched Eric's videos before and although I've applied it to my 5 bar for some reason it never occurred to me to apply it to my snake. The only 'off timing' options I previously use on my snake is perhaps realising they will start defending on pull so then quickly taking push while ...

Re: 2012 Liverpool open?

I really hope this event goes ahead, it would be a huge shame if this event got cancelled as I know so many people are looking forward to it. There is a huge amount of interest in the tournament that I've heard from many people, I hope any issues are resolved swiftly and we can all look forward to o...

Re: Partner for UKC

Many people may have their partners already sorted for this or may not be attending. I am going mainly for the BFA Cup but figured if I'm going to go I may as well enter the UKC. I'll be entering singles, but not yet sure about doubles. I'm looking for a potential partner. I'm semi-pro, preferably ...

Re: Rene Pierre Table For Sale

I'm quite interested, I just have huge nagging doubts about whether it would fit in the back of a Honda Civic. A Fireball can fit in my car, but a Garlando WC cannot. As far as I remember these types of tables are quite long in comparison to other tables right? :?
