As a new foosaddict myself here’s my 2 cents worth Prospective 1st timers may have reservations about attending an event that are varied and/or unwarranted and they may not attend simply because it’s easier not to.  How about a package which not only alleviates any reservations they have but guarant...

Ok, sounds good. Would we need to be let in by yourself, say? Or would they let just about anyone in to use the facilities without being with a member? Just wondering in case you are sailing and we arrive early. The club will be open, and there will be other visitors as there is an event on etc.  I...

Hi Mac,

Sunday should be OK.  There is a sailing event on this weekend so the club may be a bit busy.  Also I may be sailing in the morning until early afternoon....but I might not it depends if my crew can make it.  Either way plenty of scope for a few hours foos in the pm.

Sunday  22nd would be good, club is open from noon until 10.30pm.   I wouldn't be able to get there until about 1.30.

Thanks for that re Gareth, I'll not get into a round with him then.

cheers

naaa! I meant next weekend.  If Sat is out then Friday would be good, if you could get to Swansea for 5.30 - 6ish then we could have a good few hours on the table and a few beers as well,  During the day, especially monday  is pretty much out for me being an office hours worker etc.

cheers

Hi, I re-started playing fooball again recently and purchased a garlando.  In retrospect I wonder if I should have got a tornado, but its too late now. (I am working on the wife to let me get a tornado in the house as well) One of the advantages of the garlando is that when you move onto a tornado e...

Re: MUMBLES YACHT CLUB

There is now a top quality Tornado in the Mumbles Yacht Club in the Gower near Swansea. So if you are down that way let Simon Jenkins the venue rep know and I am sure he will arrange to give you a game. Probably the only quality foosball table in Wales I suspect! MYC is a private club but the exec....

I recently started playing foos again after a long absence and though I am concentrating on learning shots that are new to me like snake and front pin, I also have been practising the shots I used to play in the late 70's ie  push and pull shots/kicks.   For some reason I learned the pull/push shot ...

safety re young children and through rods

what is the best way to reduce risk of accidental injury to small children in the close vicinity of a through rod table? I am encouraging my kids to play on the table but am concerned that a rod can be a dangerous weapon.  I dont want to use telescopic rods or limit the kids use of the table, I woul...

putting the snake together.

Hi I am trying to learn the snake shot.  Plan a is to learn the roll, then the sideways movement, then put it together slowly as two seperate moves and then put it together fast as a single movement. Its the last bit I'm struggling with.   Also, I've been learning the front pin pull/push and the pul...

Hi and table levelling

Hi, what a fabulous table footy resource, I have spent hours on this site in the last week.  I played table footy at university (Sheffield), really enjoyed it and spent loads of time playing and practicing. In 1984 I left Uni and never played again......until now. 25 odd years later I woke up one mo...
