Anyone with a yahoo account can get infinite disposable addresses that will all feed into their main one. This means you do not need to keep logging into other accounts but have everything in one place so is pretty good.  It also helps identify the malicious emails (e.g. if i ever get an email to my...

Whilst i sympathise with what Jon says above, this topic is not the place to discuss what is appropriate or not. IMHO, Craig lost any moral high ground when he posted Boris' PM publicly. To put it another way.... I consider it irrelevant whether people agree with the application of the moderation on...

Open Doubles Sponsorship Explanation [/size] As people are hopefully aware, i have agreed to contribute 500 pounds sponsorship to the Open Doubles prizefund for this event. I wanted to explain how this will work, and also my rationale for providing the money (which is linked to the new event format...

I support this proposal.
Me too. It would be useful if the meeting could decide on a few "operating rules" to cover what is acceptable and what is not, and how to implement, including whether there should be separate rules for committee members.

So you are 2 people short of a full committee at the moment. The constitution was changed last year (inadvisedly in my opinion) to remove the flexibility to have fewer than 9 members. I am wondering out loud whether failing to achieve the requisite 9 members would make subsequent decisionmaking "tec...

CM 2008

I recently downloaded Championship Manager 2008 onto my mobile, and was wondering what people thought was a reasonable amount of time to spend on it. Also, whether that amount changes when you are in a foreign city on holidays and have better things to do. For example, is 8pm til 1am last night and ...

Fossil records can be used to support the theory that human life evolved on this planet as described by Darwin. However this does not necessarily discount that God exists. It only really discounts that the God as described in the Bible exists because, as a certain priest who's name slips my mind ca...

That's because you can't prove that God doesn't exist. Understanding why that is is the first step to finding out why those scientists came to believe. Well, having clear scientific observations that support a coherent theory of evolution that at least provides a robust alternative to the intellige...

At the last AGM the BFA Constitution was amended to require the BFA Executive Committee to formally document its operating procedures and policies in the BFA Policy Documents. The intention is to keep these under review and update them as required from time to time. Many of the Policy Documents have...

Q. Which of the following are incorrect... 1) Cambodia's Pol Pot regime, which resulted in the death of 1/3rd of the 7.5m population of Cambodia over the 5 year period from 1975, was still being funded by the US after 1980, so they could continue to fight the vietnamese forces. This being despite th...

There are lots of peeled pineapples in Cambodia - clearly the issue of insuring the peeler is less important when there is no civil litigation. Here you can also get pineapples on sticks (or at least with the stalk they grow on not cut off), expertly peeled in a swirl like manner (as described by Lo...

Pineapples

Has anyone ever noticed that if you eat a whole pineapple, you can actually burn your tongue - as if you had drank a cup of tea too hot. I assume this is due to the acid in the juice, but someone with a degree in fruitology may be able to correct me.
