I have always rated FAS homeplay tables quite highly, and would put them on a par with similar priced garlandos (the most similar of the decent tables) on playability, and ahead in terms of build quality, althgouh they tend to be slightly more expensive. The differences in playing are small and prob...

The BritFoos logo was meant to be temporary, but not the BFA logo.

Why does a grass-roots initiative need to rebrand the BFA? Why can the BFA not have its own grassroots subsection, with its own logo and name etc? Why does one branding have to fit it all? Surely the best thing is to go for something really noob focussed and then allow education over a period of tim...

From memory, I voted for Table Football and against the ratification of British Foosball Association. I would change it to BTFA now given the choice. HOWEVER, any debate can only be had at an AGM so this is a slightly pointless discussino AT THIS POINT IN TIME. I do think Boris is correct and Neil i...

The other thing - the BritFoos logo was generated from some stupid program in about 5 minutes. I never expected it to last.... i thought that the bfa site and the forum would be integrated and the logo dropped but it never happened. Interesting people never focus on that though.

Quite fascinating results from google - strong reasons to change to table football association or btfa. If you want to buy btfa.com it will cost $4700 (woman with fake tits presumably not included). Neil has prompted me to check the minutes of the AGM. Proposals for changing the name of the associat...

Redesigning the last one took forever.

Basically, if someone can come up with something clearly better then feel free and i am sure everyone would be happy to move forward. But this is not as simple as it sounds.

The yellow can be removed dead easily.

I can only say "i was not involved in organising tables for Reading 2002" so many times but never mind. At least you have finally had the decency to come out and state who you have a problem with, and make your thoughts public, after years of just moaning to others behind my back about these histori...

At best this would mean that people would stop playing and practicing the snake and we would lose our competitiveness in the international arena, which is where the foosball scene is nowadays (in case you hadn't noticed). If this is your "at best" i think you must not have read Geoff's article. If ...

I hope to be able to reply to Richard's posts soon. I had not intended to get involved in discussion, and my objective had been to rebalance the picture of events, as i your original comments are exceptionally one sided and unfair. I had not sought to justify or elaborate, but to assist you in unde...

Finally grown some balls Thomson? Not really, seeing as you've stayed very quiet until I finally decided to call it a day. Wind your neck in before you get into some place you REALLY don't want to be. Ah dave, dont you remember the good old days when wee just turned up and let Tich do all the work,...

Ban the snake - its a spin. I think i signed up for that about 4 years ago. And yet here we are. Its all bollocks. Geoff should just do what he thinks is right. Boris should do what he thinks is right. And the pro-community should decide if they want to take the radical action of banning one shot. I...

Wow this is a long debate. My observations will be to the point. 1) Geoff suffers from being a businessman so what affects his players is key to his views. He thinks the BFA should cater for him not the BFA's own members. He thinks players / organisers should not be allowed to put their time and eff...

Was this the bust up with Kalsi? I lose track, and frankly no longer care. This post/rant/thread etc is such a waste of everyone's time. I have no idea what the gripe is, reasonable or otherwise, but just get over it and move on. Having a 2 year silent strop and then asking a committee who were not ...

Err we have just as many if not more Garlando tournaments in the UK.
That's sad at all. There's no need to make it worse, is it?

This shouldn't be surprising.
Not just Real Madrid - from memory Barcelona and PSV both let Sir Bobby go after great seasons because they had their eye on someone else. And he was the big name of the day.

In the old days the BFA had to be table independent and this led to clear issues with regards to inferior tables, which in theory it would have to promote equally. Price was certainly no guide to playability, as those dodgy spanish monsters prove (at £2k each).  This table could play as good as it l...

Progress has been slower since starting work 10 days ago (only 1 session in that time), but i did think of one other gripe with the game..... Why can they not record/sample the real singers? I just cannot believe bands would not commit to a short re-recording session for the publicity it would give ...
