As far as im aware pinning is totally leagal as long as its touching your centre 5 bar man and is passed to another before play.

Actually thinking about it im at the optimum height for tornado rod pokerige as every tornado event ive gone to so far has ended up with at least 3-4 painfull 2bar to groin jabs when trying to watch a game.......

True but why dont PM's like yourself step forward and give detailed advice when somebody needs it instead of waiting on the sidelines to critise? I myself was in there exact position and was (not from you) given very little usefull information without constatly pestering nd even then it was links to...

Patritsch, if you want to hold it differently then try various positions but doing it in the Fredrico (thumb up style) is a very good starting position as this gives you a lot of movement and most importantly speed. With your thumb down your pushpin will be clean but not nearly as fast or controllab...

I only put your thumb down to get the basic feel of the push pin so you can get a feel for how much to backswing THEN i practiced with my thumb up like fred oncei ne whowmuch to backswing. What im saying is have your thumb down when you PRACTICE the push pin so you get used to not using so much backswing on it then place your thumb to the normal up position once learnt ;p
