Re: BFA Rankings - December 2013

Hopefully January resets don't ruin things and knock too many down to SP. It does wonders for a player to have to rise to playing in pro events. I'm worlds better than I was 18 months ago, after too long as a semi-pro doing nothing.

Re: Leonhart Winter Open ITSF Master Series, November 14th-1

Thank you very much to the organisers and help; Mase, Chris, Alex and Dave. You're all doing a great job keeping the tournament scene going in the UK, and it really is appreciated. Thanks to my partners/team too, but sorry to JP for sucking in PD. Saturday wasn't a good day for me. I thought this wa...

Well then hopefully someone in the committee saw this and has made contact!

Re: Any RELIABLE weekend Tornado or Fireball comp in Europe?

Short answer: no Unsure if they'll hold another Tornado tournament in Germany after the poor (for them) turnout last year (though another one of these happening is your best shout), and word is Fireball aren't going to be an official ITSF table next year so it's very unlikely any tournaments will be...

But you can actually play foos. I can't, all I have is a brush-snake, and when I don't do that (because it's the least fun thing ever to do) and I have pretty much nothing. One of these days I might actually try to learn how to play the game.

Pretty sure I didn't come last. Also, why are you posting things like that on the forum? You desperately want to rank that Cat E too don't you?

Re: Leonhart Winter Open: Official Partner Thread

OSC found.

Just 2brb needed now. Preferably someone who wont be annoyed by me getting into a drunken silly state.

Also a preference if you're a Bar Kick player, to complete the full set along with my partners for the other events.

Not many people at tournaments these days who can use it though. Been dwindling over the past couple of years. So perfect time for Bobby to be awesome and make something new for the (hopeful) next generation of TD's.

Re: Leonhart World Championship Series 2013, Sep 27 - 29

Thought I'd do a quick little write up of this event. I love the venue, it's a shame that it wont be there next year (moving to Luxembourg so I hear). Jody was awesome and booked us a place 30 seconds walk from the tournament room, which was ideal for nipping back between games for food and drink. I...

It looks as if they need a min. number of registrations or they're going to cancel this.

No idea if I'd go even if it runs but can someone register Sarah and I, just to help the numbers like.

I presume the BFA haven't managed to get anything together, and we have no collective pool of team kits, so we'll be doing the standard mismatch?

Re: Liverpool Multitable Open - 14 September

Bit delayed, but I really do need to publicly thank Alex and Sarah. In all honesty, this tournament was an organisational mess (but better lessons are learnt here and things fixed for bigger events), and there is no way it could have worked at even the most basic level without their efforts. Sarah t...

I'm a little tempted to sort out some last minute plans to go to this. Anyone else?

Friday - Monday flights to Katowice from Manchester are currently £39.

Excellent. I wasn't planning to go to the UKC, but it's ideal that I now don't have to as I've already qualified in OS.

I'll see the rest of the guys going in Nantes.

I lost a lot of the files from the early tournaments I did on my old laptop, with a got rid of ages ago.

But Boris should have the charts for every event going back to the dawn of the BFA.

Re: BFA League Grand Finals - Sunday 15th September

More tournaments should have team events. It helped make Warwick, earlier this year, the most fun tournament I have been to and I can't remember anything in foos meaning more to me than the feeling I had in the build up to the 'penalties' in the final vs Bar Kick. Gutted to lose, but it was brillian...
