Re: Nuneaton Boro table football thread

Have been in touch with Dominic - he says Fridays would be no good due to disco lights and bad lighting. have also contacted Hinckley United - at present they shut at 9 on Fridays (after meals have finished) but they wanted to know more about us - so discussions are on-going

Table Football as usual on Friday April 3rd but the next Friday looks like being April 24th I know some of you will be at Oxford next week and so may need to spread the word but it looks like regular Fridays will no longer be possible at the Boro - other than when the Darts and Dommies are at home. ...

Re: 8th - 10th May - The Spring Time Classic REPLACED

But the format will be different and will definitely involve Garlandos. The good news is that we have provisionally booked Nuneaton Town's Boro Sports bar for the weekend of May 8th 9th and 10th. This has the potentail of being an excellent venue once you can find it. I am currently talking to Boris...

Re: Nuneaton Boro table football thread

We can usually manage both depending upon how many turn up. The BYp can also involve just choosing a partner on the night if they are not already part of a doubles team. In order to qualify for BFA ranking points it cannot be a DYP. But if say 16 people turn up (that's the most we have so far) there...

Re: Nuneaton Boro table football thread

Possible BFA tournament at the Boro Sports Bar in May. I have been negotiating with Boris (who has also spoken to Mace) about replacing the tournament that was supposed to take place at the Holywell with a Garlando (and possibly Bonzini) tournament at the Boro Sports Bar on May 8th, 9th and 10th. Ne...

Re: Nuneaton Boro table football thread

As it is the third Friday of the month on the 20th it is time to resurrect the mini-tournament. The main difference between this and a normal Friday is that you can pick your own partner and that victories do count towards BFA rankings. We are considering. Following a discussion last night it was fe...

Re: Nuneaton Boro table football thread

Some back dated results. First from 6th feb. A convincing 100% performance by Bill and John left others trailling in their wake. Another good turnout also saw a strong performance from Brendan & Roger who just beat Paul & Chris to claim second place. Team Won Lost F A GD Pts John&Bill 5 1 29 16 13 2...
