Re: UK Garlando Open 25-28 August, Manchester
It states on the room booking site that children are not allowed on campus. Would these rules be relaxed for Alice and Sophie or would they have to stay elsewhere?

Re: Lancaster Open (Bonzini) - Thursday 22nd June
That's a shame. Alice can only play when she's half-cut!
No seriously, we might come. Will let you know.

Boz. If we were to come to this would Alice and Sophie be allowed in the venue being as it is a beer festival and they are 14 and 16 respectively?
Cheers Matty.

Re: Garlando Worlds - 6-9 July
Should be booking flights either today or tomorrow. Will post back when confirmed. 90% sure though.
We have 3 rooms reserved at the Hotel Metropol from Tuesday until Sunday.
My dad is going if we were desperate for the sixth man. (and I mean DESPERATE).
Come on Rich!

Re: Garlando Worlds - 6-9 July
Really want to go to this but doesn't look easy at first glance. Can't understand why it's not in Salzburg or Vienna again. It looks to be 50 or 60 miles from Vienna airport and the hotels in St. Polten are few and far between and mostly fully booked already. Has anybody else had a look at anything ...

Re: World Cup/Championship - Hamburg - April 2017
Ok so would it be possible to submit as Jody proposed and have Martin & Will as delegates? Leave out Rachel and we can bite the bullet and pay for her. On another point are we going to be able to get hold of any of these new Garlando balls before Hamburg? Seems kind of important seeing as it is quit...

Re: World Cup/Championship - Hamburg - April 2017
Darren has been junior coach for the last few years anyway so if we could just add Rachel.
Mel and Martin are at senior age so would be ideal to join their squad as part of a support group?

Re: World Cup/Championship - Hamburg - April 2017
Ok so our barmy army of travelling supporters will include Darren Warr, Rachel Warr, Mel Oakes and Martin Landers. Is there any way these four can be added to any GB squads as coaches or supporters/delegates to avoid having to pay the entry fees? Seems a bit harsh that the parents of playing juniors...

Re: World Cup/Championship - Hamburg - April 2017
Callum, myself and our dads are also booked into the Leonardo Hotel Hamburg City Nord.
It is one of the cheapest and also close to the airport and venue.
We are staying from Wednesday to Monday.

Re: Cork balls in a Garlando
Hi Flash, Welcome to the forum. With regards to cork balls, the only advantage on a garlando would be noise reduction. Other than that they are just too light and bouncy. In competition we are using the orange high control pro play balls. They have a rough surface and give you much better control. Y...

Re: East Anglia Open Results & Afterglow
Ok, let's get this afterglow thread started as I think Lee deserves to hear some feedback for his endeavours. Firstly massive thanks to all the organisers and table crew. Without their efforts UK tournaments simply wouldn't happen. A lot of their work goes unnoticed but I'm sure the whole foos commu...

Re: East Anglian Open - Garlando Master Series - Great Yarmouth 27-29 November
WOW - Massive news.
We had it confirmed to us today that new World no.1 Tony Spredeman will be attending this event. Rob Atha will also be making an appearance.
Even more reason to come and I hope there will be plenty of room around the finals table Lee!
Can't wait!
