Wanted: French table (Bonzini, Sulpie, Petiot)

As per title please, on a budget so something tired or in need of some restoration would be ideal.

Re: Any experts on Bonzini Gerflex surface and construction?

Boris, Josh - thanks ever so much for the posts. After a shed load of research, planning and reading hours and hours of info, studying endless restauration topics on the http://www.babyfoot-fr.com/forum/comment-restaurer-un-baby-foot-f13.html forum but mostly after experimenting with many ideas in t...

Any experts on Bonzini Gerflex surface and construction?

Hi chaps, Hoping someone may help - I understand Bonzini tables like many French tables use 'Gerflex' (made by Gerfloor - a flooring supplier) genuine Linoleum for the playing surface. From talking to a flooring supplier what most people in the UK call 'lino' is not proper lino but just vinyl floori...

Re: Tornado just appeared with BIN £250

Sorry for any offence caused - I thought twice about posting that but could not think of any better way to put it - once again apologies if I offended you. :( Really just trying to make the point that it is such common practise that I guessed most people would be aware that it happens all the time. ...

Re: Tornado just appeared with BIN £250

Forgive me but you must be very new to eBay :? - that is a completely normal and very common practise on eBay. Against the eBay rules of course but it happens all the time. If the seller is not a business (or big time) seller on preferential rates then he can offer a better deal as he doesn't pay th...

Re: Tornado just appeared with BIN £250

Just had a check back - ended with 0 bids, so it didn't even sell for the £150! He ended it early and it will have sold already. It was bid on the first day (which automatically removed the BIN) - the seller then ended the listing (in 99% of cases he would have negotiated a sale during the auction ...

Tornado just appeared with BIN £250

Just spotted this come up on Ebay in the last hour - I'm after a French table but for the little I know about Tornados' this seems a very good price so guess someone should be quick...not sure if it breaks any forum rules (listing is nothing to do with me) but wanted to post it quick to hopefully be...

Re: Hi everyone - new boy here.

Those are new prices, wonder what their used ones are like... It's a good point - I've looked back at lots of current and completed listings on ebay.fr these past days and the going rate for a used table (B60/90) seems to be £1k + so not so far away from a brand new B90 within mainland France on th...

Re: Hi everyone - new boy here.

Thanks Boris, yes, I often have an eye on eBay.fr - if I was after a new one it's much cheaper and worth the cost of a channel crossing/drive (not to the guy below though, he's near Marseille!). Not the ITSF version but £700 cheaper for a new B90: http://cgi.ebay.fr/baby-foot-Bonzini-B-90-direct-dus...

Understood Mase, thanks for clearing that up. Just to say I'm new here and looking back through topics I checked that Bristol tournament 10min film last night - absolutely *outstanding* piece of work.

Re: Hi everyone - new boy here.

Thanks chaps for the welcome and informative posts. I'm certainly looking at older tables no doubt with my budget so would be the older style men I guess - from reading many topics I gathered that Bonzini tables were little changed in decades. Are these the balls mentioned: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm...

Hi everyone - new boy here.

Hi all - glad to join the forum. I've been reading from the sidelines for the last week or two learning as much as possible. We've had great fun as a family playing on a typical 'toy' (floor level) table but predictably it has self destructed over the last year few months. My son (8 yrs) in particul...
