Anyone want some foos in Livigno, Italy Jan19-Apr14 2014?

I'll be in Livigno ski resort in italy if anyone wants a game. There are 2 Italian style tables there. I will not be bringing my table as I did a previous year. Phone or text +353 86 8255557, or email me on gary_mahoney@hotmail.com

Re: Venue Listings - please tell us about new or dead venues

City Limits comedy club outer bar on Coburg Street, Cork has a Lowen Pro table that is badly lit and badly lubricated. It looks to be in good condition otherwise.
I'm still looking for a safe respectful home for 2 coin-op Tornados if anyone has suggestions.

Re: Where to play Foosball in London

The table is very nice of course but clearly has had little action, it's badly lit, and 9 balls for a pound go pretty fast when you're demoing with beginners. Lol. Really? I've never heard that story before... Martyn, care to wade in? 9 balls for £1 - I believe you once said that was never going to...

Re: Any RELIABLE weekend Tornado or Fireball comp in Europe?

Thanks for that, but it's too late in January. I'll be up the Alps for 12 weeks and it'll not be worth spending so much time and money travelling for a one-day thing.

Re: Any RELIABLE weekend Tornado or Fireball comp in Europe?

I hope that Tornado's return to the ITSF Official status will mean some Tornado tournaments in Europe. What is BritFoos doing about this? Or are you guys scared that running a Tornado competition will bring the Irish out of hiding? Re: Leonhart...I disliked it like I disliked all non-Tornado/Firebal...

Re: Seeking a good table and opposition in Amsterdam 1-9 Jul

ClubFoos.nl is the site of regular foosball club nights and small monster DYP competitions in Rotterdam and Amsterdam (near Spaklerweg metro station). Great people, great craic, great games, all ITSF official tables available.

Re: Venue Listings - please tell us about new or dead venues

Kerry: The Hangout in Caherciveen got rid of their Roberto Sport table. The Ring Lyne bar in Chapeltown, Valentia Island have a glass-covered Sardi Sport (I think) for 50c a game. Cork: I'll probably soon be taking the Tornado out of South County Bar's beer garden in Douglas, Cork for the Winter. I'...

Re: Venue Listings - please tell us about new or dead venues

Last weekend I installed a Tornado coin-op (currently taking €1 per game) in the beer garden of South County Pub in Douglas West Village, Cork. It is likely to be moved indoors for the Winter. My Tornado table in Mike Murt's in Caherciveen has been removed. The Tornado table in McCarthy's Bar, Eden ...

Re: Venue Listings - please tell us about new or dead venues

I installed one of my 50c for 9 balls Tornado tables in Mike Murt's bar in Newmarket St., Caherciveen, Co. Kerry. It's in the back room. If you've nobody to play with, Mike Murt himself is quite hard to beat...great reactions and power, but he needs practice. I still need a place to put another Torn...

Re: £12,000 UK Tornado Series

These events need to be written into the Britfoos Tournament Schedule as SUSPENDED as they are misleading http://www.britfoos.com/tournament-schedule/2013 Damnit anyway. Any RELIABLE weekend Tornado or Fireball comp in Europe?

Will somebody please organise loads of weekend-long Tornado or Fireball competitions somewhere in Europe. I will travel. If possible I will even alter my ski-instructing to attend. Travel to China, Australia or America for a weekend tournament is excessive. I find other tables are barely worth trave...

Re: Venue Listings - please tell us about new or dead venues

I currently have two coin-op Tornado tables, neither of which are installed in a public location (suggestions welcome). So, UCC Old College Bar, Central Bar Rathcormac and Quayside Bar Cork don't currently have foosball tables. Bavaria beer have "Bavaria Games Room" posters up in UCC Old College bar...

I have it set up in my apartment which I have rented until April 25th.

Re: Venue Listings - please tell us about new or dead venues

Kerry/Cork Foosball Table update: Tonight I'll be moving a foosball table into the Quayside Bar on Victoria Road at the Cork city docks...near The Port, Marine, Sextant and The Idle Hour bars. I took that table out of the Central Bar in Rathcormac, Co. Cork which is now closed. Tomorrow I'll be movi...

Re: Venue Listings - please tell us about new or dead venues

I've just moved one of my Tornado tables from University College Cork Old College Bar (upstairs from the Main Restaurant) to the Central Bar in Rathcormac in County Cork, just off the Dublin-Cork motorway. So that's one Tornado in each now at 50c for 9 balls.
College Bar not re-opened yet.

Thanks for the tips and connection guys, much appreciated ...I played 3 times with them. Twice with Nicholeen and Andre and once with Andre and the locals in Soundgarden rock bar on a Deutche Meister table in bad condition. Great fun.

Re: Any Players in Cork or Belfast?

I'm from Kerry, but a refugee in Cork city. The Dublin guys used to play in a few pubs years ago, but now many have their own tables so they have nights of most weeks when they gather in someone's house. You probably will find good quality mostly central and Eastern European opposition on a Garlando...
