Re: Cheap balls for a Leonhart

Hi Boris,

Thanks for the advice.

And yes, I'm a little concerned about goal stuffing. It's positioned in a highly visible place with a lot of people passing by so I'm hoping this will keep it to a minimum.

Cheers,
Adam

Cheap balls for a Leonhart

Hi all, I'm awaiting delivery of a coin op Leonhart to my workplace. I'm expecting that the balls will probably go missing on a semi-regular basis and so I'm thinking about having some backup balls of acceptable but standard quality that can be used day to day. I then plan to use the official Leonha...

Hi guys,

Thanks a lot for the info.

I'll most likely be able to make the Friday so will make myself known if so!

Cheers,

Re: World Cup/Championship - Hamburg - April 2017

Morning all, I may be close to Hamburg at the same time as the championships and wondered if it is generally open to those who are not participating? I couldn't find any info on their website yet but I was curious if this would be possible and if there'd be entry fees etc. Does anyone know how this ...

Re: Modifying a coin op for different currency

Hi Boris, Thanks for the information! As a follow up on my side, I learned that a 6 coin mechanism can indeed be modified quite easily (as you say) so it's quite straight forward for a Tornado. I was looking at doing this with a second hand Bonzini also and after speaking with them it is not possibl...

Modifying a coin op for different currency

Hi everyone, I have a slightly unusual request relating to the coin operation for pay-to-play tables. Do any of you know how easily or readily a typical table can modified to accept different coins? Is it a possible DIY job or does anyone know of any individuals or companies that can provide it? Tha...

Re: Chester (Telford's Warehouse) Doubles Sept 21st

Morning all, I'm off to Chester this evening with some colleagues and wondered if anyone could confirm any venues in the centre of Chester that currently have tables? I've checked the venue listings but I wasn't sure how many are still live. Does Telford's Warehouse still have their table? Any info ...

Re: European Fireball Open 2011

Morning All, I’m looking for a bit of advice if possible. Myself and a mate are looking to get involved in the doubles events for this tournament but Im trying to gauge which events we should actually enter. We’ve never played in a tournament before so I’ve been anticipating it’ll be the beginner/no...

Re: Wanted - Garlando Balls and Handles

Jason / Boris, Thanks for the info, that makes things clearer. Sounds like the speedplay balls aren't particularly popular. I'll pick up some of the magic balls when I can and keep my eyes peeled for the new Garlando pro plays. Boris, out of interest, would magic balls be used at the BFA Cup? Cheers...

Wanted - Garlando Balls and Handles

Hi all, I've recently got my hands on a Garlando G500 and having had a look around I'm a little uncertain on which balls are recommended and/or used in competition. From what I've seen there are standard orange and white, high control, ITSF speedplay and Barenherz. Could anyone summarise which ones ...

Re: Fireball Seeded DYP - Manchester 18/07

Hello Jamie,

Myself and at least one mate will be coming down but I'm looking to rope a few more in if I can.

Time for a stupid question but what does DYP stand for and what will the format be?

Thanks,
Adam

Re: Bonzini Le Stadium Upgrade

Hi Boris, Thanks for getting back to me on this. I also got a reply from Bonzini directly that wasn't particularly detailed but simply said parts for the B90 are not for Le Stadium. It may be that they would rather keep the Stadium and B90 differentiated because of the price difference or simply tha...

Re: Bonzini Le Stadium Upgrade

Hi Boris, Thanks for getting back to me on this. I didn't realise that the players were different on the ITSF tables to be honest. Is there a noticeable difference when playing? I think for nostalgia and playability I'll stick with the cork balls but I'll pick up a couple of the official ones aswell...

Bonzini Le Stadium Upgrade

Hello! I was recently lucky enough to get my hands on my first Bonzini having half heartedly been looking for one for years. I have the Le Stadium model upgraded as per the Babyfoot UK standard (Aluminium goal tops, pitch marks etc) What I wanted to know was, has anyone ever upgraded their model wit...
