I think it meant whichever is higher counts; the BFA Bonzini rankings or the London rankings. Rather than whichever of your BFA ranks is highest [how i read it anyway]

I think having no venue with more than one table has contributed too. Since Catz got rid of one of theirs (and added a glass top to the other), DYP groups have shrunk from 8-15 down to 4-7, probably because new players find it less dynamic playing the same people multiple times in a row. It was a good match, level pretty much all the way through. I thought there were some very strong doubles pairs (but clearly not a single dominating pair) which made it quite interesting.
