Re: The Future of the BFA Forum
This site should be preserved at all costs imho, it was THE place to go with anything foos related. It contains our history and countless pages of excellent stuff including results and reports. A really good read. I believe we lost acres of documents in the past when a well intended upgrade didn’t q...

Re: Mike Fowler
It was very much a rock and roll funeral, I felt like I was at a gig! Many of Mikes musical friends were there, mainly having long hair and wearing black tour t-shirts and jeans etc, sadly just myself from the foosball community. The service was simple, comprising of musical extracts in between eulo...

Re: Mike Fowler
For anyone attending, Margy asked me to relay this message from the funeral directors to ask people to be there by 12.15 as it takes people a while to get settled.
Thanks

Re: Mike Fowler
Margy asked me to say this too about the funeral:
"By the way, in case anyone is joining us on the 11th, it'll be a very informal event, not traditional, and I'm referring to it as Mike/Micks farewell gig, so jeans and T shirts are all good"

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to tell you all that my good friend and former foosball partner Mike Fowler sadly passed away on Sunday 15th April 2018. Mike was a very interesting guy, he always had something to say about most things, but always listened first to other people's opinions t...

Re: Rob Davey
Just wanted to mark the one year anniversary of the passing of my old mate Rob, I have no idea where that 12 months went. It's still hard to think he's not here, there have been many times I have wanted to call him, times I half expected my next text to be from him asking a question about the next t...

Very well advertised, Jozefi.
Budapest is a beautiful city so players who have not yet visited should consider this event.

Re: Rob Davey
The funeral took place today and as Paul Martin noticed, there were 13 foosers who attended, the same number of players on a Tornado, arguably Robs best table. In alhabetical order: Mike Amsden, Boris Atha, Dave Bareham, Chris Bulley, Martyn Harris, Paul Martin, Ben Mason, Jon May, Alun Oates, Dave ...

Re: Rob Davey
Important Announcement: I have just come off the phone with Robs mum again. The funeral will be held at South Bristol Crematorium on Wednesday 18th September at 3pm. There will be no wake. I am thinking of saying a few words, she thought that was a good idea as she said that Rob and I go back to th...

Rob Davey
After just speaking to his mother a moment ago, I am utterly devastated to bring you all the dreadful news that Rob Davey sadly passed away at 3.15pm yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. He was recently admitted to hospital with pneumonia but I am not sure know what that may have developed into. I said to ...

Transparency John. That's all. I think a private message should be just that, and if it isn't, then I and I suspect others would like to know who has access on here.
