Post BFA League Next Stage!

Attention League Players

In the abscence of Neil and as deputy league administrator it has been agreed that i should initiate the next stage of the competition!

League review, the season was cut slightly short with 1 or 2 fixtures not being fullfilled, however the league overall was 8 teams strong (two leagues, devided by region) and im sure that will grow for next season. A full review to follow.

The next stage is the semi final stage, this will be played over a home and away leg. The scoring of points will be the same as for the league stages. Shoud the result after both legs be a draw the captains should nominate one player from their own team to decide fixture, this play off will be race to 5 best of 3!

Semi Final 1
The Chetwynd and Warwick A

Semi Final 2

Bush Babies and Warwick B

The deadline for the completition of these two games is the 1st of November 2006. I have removed the date by which the first leg should be played as 2 university teams will not have returned from their holidays (this was not an act of favouritism, this was for the health of the league)

I trust all captains will organise their fixtures promptly and not wait for the deadline.

The forum is open for dicsussion

BUT

Should anyone have any problems please direct them to me via my PM and keep this post clear!! Equally should anyone reading this wish to enter a side please contact me in the same way!! Thank you.

Mase

Neil doesn't look at Britfoos anymore. Last time I was round his, I logged him on to find 1500+ unread posts.

Could there ever be any doubt? Chetwynd to play Warwick A in the first leg of their semi-final at the Chetwynd on Friday 29th September - start at 8pm. We expect to only use one table and have a DYP for the other regulars on the other table.

Not sure what time BBC and Sky are arriving - I think they are haggling over how much to pay both teams and their managers.
