Are spectators welcome at these events? I have a couple of teenage sons (ages 14 &15) who would like to see some experts play. Probably would be the March date.

Spectators are welcome. The only problem would be that your kids are under 18. Rootes social is a student bar that is open to everyone during the daytime but im unsure about their rules during the evening. At a guess i would expect it to be fine but its worth checking it out with them or alternatively waiting for someone to reply who does know.

I hate to do this - but is there a payout/trophies? Just wondering.
p.s. free bump!

Payout will be entry fees minus table costs. We own one of the tables so will only have to pay for about 3/4 of the games from the pot.

Thanks for that - maybe you should keep a small % for trophies? If this is to be a series, it would seem a good idea

Was a good night, and everything ran quite smoothly.

7= Chaz Allen and Mike Webporn
This was good fun. Maybe next time I'll warm up for longer - urgh one way snaking. Best bit was probably £1 Carling at Evolve and hitting Dan in the gnads Cheers Warwick people! Will prob return time permitting especially since you've arranged the Warwick tournament to clash with my graduation

Was excellent to get some revenge on Nubbert and Way, who were, and I don't believe I'm being unfair when I say this.... rubbish.
Well done to Steve and James, and Tom and Dan for knocking us out.
I see there is no mention of the enormous payouts. Shame..... shame.

A good tournament, although Rich and I didn't get very far. The undoubted highlight was TH's double time out on the 3-bar against Nub and Way, leading eventually to him losing the match. Classic.

Me and Joe somehow managed to get knocked out by only losing one game... to the bottom seed in our group (the tournament director should hang!). Beating JW and Chris was fun though, just a shame that bonus points don't count for local tours (I checked). Thanks to everyone who came (especially those who had to travel).
