Team GB and the BFA to feature in new film...

Postby Jonathan May » Fri Jun 29, 2012 8:14 am

... if you help make it happen.

Matt Birtles and Egill Bjornsson are crowd-funding The Foos Project. They're doing pretty well so far, but could do with a hand. Please share far and wide!

The Lottery Film Fund would be a good avenue to try,

In 2011 there were 9 new British films funded by the Lottery Film Fund selected for the BFI London Film Festival.

The BFI is now the lead body for film in the UK which includes a role as a lottery distributor.

Best of luck it sounds like a good project.

I want to draw more attention to this. There is 7 days left for these guys to raise the money required to make this possible. A link to their coverage of the Garlando worlds is here:

If we, the people who play the sport they are trying to promote and publicise are not willing or prepared to each donate a little to help them out then can we really expect the visibility of foosball to increase in this country?

Everyone please donate a fiver to this, it's cheap publicity all things considered.

This is also great work by them showing lots of UK players. Looks like footage was filmed at the Major, Warwick 2012 and also Bar Kick.
